The Aquarium Guys

So glad I found these guys! I’m absolutely obsessed with aquariums and fish. I tried listening to a different podcast and immediately stopped when he started talking about video games. I like games, but I’m here to nerd out on fish. I love how these guys blend humor and helpful information. This podcast has helped me accelerate myself in the hobby as I’ve been in it since July 2024. I binged all the episodes and am going to relisten to them to soak up more knowledge. I’ve learned so much that I’ve started my own maintenance and breeding business. My only complaint is that they don’t have more episodes lol, please come out with them faster!!!!

Instantly a fan of the podcast these guys are so funny. At the same time they give great information and talk about interesting topics!

Weirdly, they put a quacking noise over every “f-bomb” but they’ve thrown around the R-slur a few times and that for me is a word I just won’t listen to. I love the people in my life with developmental or intellectual disabilities too much to stay subscribed. It’s too bad, too. They seem like funny guys who all genuinely like hanging out and talking fish. Great information, but you can get the same info from Cory and friends at Aquarium Coop.

I feel very lucky to have found this podcast very early in my fish keeping career. Every episode makes it a point to stay accessible to the beginner. The large library and full length (none less than 60 min) have let me learn about a wide variety of topics in the hobby. They’ve done amazing job getting enthusiastic knowledgeable guests on the podcast. Every episode has led me to continue researching various species of fish and plants and a good idea of where to go and find that knowledge. If I can do it with these guys help anyone can. I’m not a smart man.
