  1. AEW Dynamite 6/17/26 Review: Great Promo, Good Wrestling, and a Whole Lot of Chaos

AEW Dynamite 6/17/26 Review: Great Promo, Good Wrestling, and a Whole Lot of Chaos

AEW Dynamite was a very mixed show, folks. Some very good stuff, some total nonsense, and one absolutely tremendous face-to-face between Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland that did a lot of heavy lifting for the whole night. Kenny Omega vs. Tony Nese was a complete waste of time, the Omega and Zack Sabre Jr. interaction should have been much bigger, and that giant Team MJF vs. Team Briscoe match gave away way too much of the same chaos we’re supposed to pay to see later. But credit where it’s due: Death Riders vs. Brodido was fun, Mercedes Moné vs. Hazuki was very strong, and Ospreay vs. Swerve on the microphone was the kind of serious, heated segment AEW needs a lot more of. That was the standout. Big-time energy, real stakes, and two guys sounding like stars. Overall, not a bad show, but definitely one of those Dynamites where the best parts made the weaker parts more frustrating. WWE Raw 6/15/26 Review: Oba Dominates, Roman’s Bloodline Chaos, LA Knight Strikes Back

Raw gave us a lot this week, folks. Roman Reigns and the Bloodline opened the show with a huge segment, Jacob Fatu was officially welcomed in, and then poor Eric Andre got absolutely destroyed because he touched the wrong thing at the wrong time. Oba Femi kept looking like a future megastar, Chad Gable scored a big win over Rusev, Charlotte Flair handled Roxanne Perez, and Je’Von Evans kept his momentum going before The Vision tried to drag him into their mess. Then in the King of the Ring semifinal, Oba Femi absolutely ran through Dominik Mysterio in short order and made it crystal clear that he is coming for the crown. LA Knight also had a hot segment with Jey and Jimmy Uso before Jacob Fatu wrecked the whole thing. Very strong night, a lot of angles moving, and some real star presence all over the show. In this review, I break down everything that mattered from WWE Raw 6/15/26 in under 10 minutes — the good, the chaos, and the stuff that stood out in a big way. 3. Make Pro Wrestling Majestic Again 238: Is Pro Wrestling Boring? Sad! Weak! Very Low Energy!

Make Pro Wrestling Majestic Again 238: Is Pro Wrestling Boring? Sad! Weak! Very Low Energy!

On this major episode of Make Pro Wrestling Majestic Again, we’re asking a very important question, maybe the most important question in wrestling right now: has pro wrestling become boring? And frankly, folks, a lot of it has. Not all of it—let’s be fair. The matches are often good, the talent is tremendous, some great workers, maybe the best athletes ever. But where’s the excitement? Where’s the momentum? Where’s the feeling that something big could happen? Too many of the biggest companies are playing it safe, repeating themselves, giving us polished shows with very little surprise, very little danger, and not nearly enough that feels fresh or important. This week in wrestling: Chad Gable is reportedly in serious talks about a possible appearance for Real American Freestyle, though WWE contract issues could complicate it; a giant American flag at WWE headquarters in Stamford was blown into electrical equipment during severe weather, first causing an outage affecting roughly 5,000 customers and later contributing to a much bigger outage impacting around 40,000 during removal efforts; Danhausen turned up at Madison Square Garden for Game 3 of the NBA Finals, continuing his hilarious Knicks “curse” bit and joking that he may re-curse the city if his demands are not met; The Glamour Girls, Leilani Kai and Judy Martin, will become the first women’s team to receive the Cauliflower Alley Club Tag Team Award; Bret Hart is set to receive the 2026 Lou Thesz Award, presented by Natalya; WWE ID pulled Starboy Charlie from an upcoming West Coast Pro show, showing the limits that can come with WWE-affiliated deals; and WWE is auctioning Ludwig Kaiser’s El Grande Americano mask from AAA through Fanatics, with proceeds benefiting the Dr. Sonrisas Foundation. We’ll talk about why wrestling feels stuck, which companies are still trying new things, which stories actually stand out, and whether this business can get its spark back. Some bright spots, yes. But overall? Too much safe. Not enough magic. We’re telling the truth. TNA Impact 6/11/26 Review: Santana Survives, Ali Retains, Slammiversary Gets Wilder

TNA Impact gave us a very solid show this week. Mike Santana survived Eric Young in the opening World Title match, Nic Nemeth teased the cash-in drama again, Mustafa Ali retained in the main event, and Slammiversary got a whole lot more loaded by the end of the night. There was also a strong tag match with The System, Moose stepping back into the mix, and the Hardys/Righteous/System title situation getting the full ladder match treatment. Not everything worked for me. The Elijah and Mr. Elegance segment was complete nonsense, the fake “surprise” of Nemeth challenging Santana for a match we already knew was happening was a little ridiculous, and TNA still has a habit of making things more chaotic than they need to be. But overall? Fun show, easy to watch, and a strong enough build toward Slammiversary. In this review, I break down everything that mattered from TNA Impact 6/11/26 in under 10 minutes — the good, the weird, and the stuff that made me shake my head. 5. AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster Review: Good Main Event, Lots of Boring Nonsense

AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster Review: Good Main Event, Lots of Boring Nonsense

AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster was one of those shows that had some good things on it, but also a whole lot of stuff that made you ask, “What exactly are we doing here?” The Tommaso Ciampa and Chris Jericho segment felt way too sports-entertainment for a company that loves telling us it’s the sports-based alternative. Jon Moxley vs. Shane Taylor for the Continental Title was a complete drag, PAC vs. Mark Briscoe did very little for me, and Orange Cassidy vs. Andrade was another match that just kind of sat there. There were some positives. The surprise in the Women’s Owen tournament was interesting, and Swerve Strickland vs. Brody King was a good main event that at least gave the show a strong finish. But overall, this was a mixed bag at best. Some angles moved forward, some stories got more cluttered, and Forbidden Door is clearly taking shape in the weirdest Tony Khan way possible. In this review, I break down everything that mattered from AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster 6/10/26 in under 10 minutes — the good, the bad, and the stuff that made me roll my eyes.
