    TNA Impact 7/9/26 Review: Hardys Retain, Sosa & Slater Shine, Brookside Delivers

    TNA Impact gave us a very solid show this week. The Hardys retained the World Tag Team Titles in a fun opener, Moose had one of the strangest “King’s Speech” segments you’ll ever see, the Knockouts TV Title tournament kept rolling, and Ricky Sosa and Leon Slater continued to feel like two of the brightest young names in the company. That matters. A lot. KC Navarro also confronted Nic Nemeth and got more Nemeth family nonsense for his trouble, while the main event saw Xia Brookside and Léi Yǐng Lee go to war in a No DQ Knockouts World Title match that absolutely delivered. That was the big one. Really good match, violent enough to feel serious, and a strong way to close the show. Overall, this was an easy TNA to watch. Good pacing, some younger talent getting meaningful spotlight, and a main event worth talking about. In this review, I break down everything that mattered from TNA Impact 7/9/26 in under 10 minutes.     AEW Beach Break Review: Omega Wins, Fletcher Shocks, Ciampa Goes Completely Insane

    AEW Dynamite: Beach Break gave us a very eventful show. Tommaso Ciampa beat Chris Jericho in a fun opener and then looked like a complete maniac afterward with a chair and a power drill. Kyle Fletcher beat Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship in a good match, even if the finisher spam was way too much for me. The Death Riders and Will Ospreay did their thing, Willow Nightingale came back in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet, and the main event saw Kenny Omega defeat MJF to become the new AEW World Champion. So yes, there were big moments. Big title changes. Big angles. But there were also the usual AEW frustrations — overkill, weird pacing, and some decisions that make you wonder if they’re giving away too much on TV instead of saving the biggest emotional payoffs for the biggest stage.     WWE NXT 7/7/26 Review: Kendal Retains, Layla Diggs Shocks, and NXT Keeps Shifting

    NXT gave us a pretty solid show this week, folks. Not everything worked, but there was enough good stuff here to come away feeling positive. The opening women’s segment was random in a way that did not really help anybody, but the in-ring side of the show delivered much better. The four-way tag No. 1 contender’s match was fun, Tank Ledger and Keanu Carver had a short hoss fight that did exactly what it needed to do, and the women’s North American Title contender four-way was one of the stronger parts of the night with Layla Diggs pulling off a real surprise. Tavion Heights and Myles Borne moving back toward being on the same page was a smart development, Shiloh Hill and Niko Vance was just kind of there, and Kendal Grey closed the show by retaining against Nattie in a good main event. Then Jaida Parker showed up after the bell and made sure people had another women’s issue to pay attention to before the show went off the air. Overall, decent NXT, some good shifts happening, and the women’s division especially keeps getting a lot of attention.     WWE Raw 7/6/26 Review: CM Punk Wins Big, Oba Stares Down Brock, Sami’s Reign Ends Fast

    Raw was a very eventful show, folks. Some good, some weird, some frustrating, and one huge title change at the end. Seth Rollins opened with a very long promo before LA Knight came out to save everybody from falling asleep. The Street Profits lost the World Tag Team Titles back to The Vision in a match that somehow became all about Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri. Sol Ruca retained thanks to Iyo Sky causing chaos, Oba Femi and Paul Heyman gave us more Brock Lesnar hype, and Dragon Lee & Chad Gable had a fun tag match with more post-match destruction. Then we got the big one: Sami Zayn defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk. Great match, big moment, and Punk wins the title. But let’s be honest, Sami’s reign lasting only 9 days is rough. Real rough. That’s the kind of thing that makes you ask why we couldn’t let something breathe a little bit. Overall, this was a strong Raw with a huge ending, even if some of the booking choices were a little wild.     Make Pro Wrestling Majestic Again 241: The Great PPV/PLE Catch-Up Reviews — Huge Winners, Big Drama!

    On this absolutely massive episode of Make Pro Wrestling Majestic Again, we’re doing the great catch-up, folks — NXT Great American Bash 2026, TNA Slammiversary 2026, and the enormous Forbidden Door 2026. Three big shows, major title matches, shocking results, and the kind of wrestling weekend that separates the strong from the very weak. We break down Tony D’Angelo retaining the NXT Championship, Kendal Grey defeating Lola Vice for the NXT Women’s Championship, and the rest of a very loaded Great American Bash card. Then we head to TNA Slammiversary, where Cedric Alexander survived Ultimate X, DemonXBunny won the Knockouts Tag Titles, Xia Brookside captured the Knockouts World Championship, The Broken Hardys climbed the ladder to take the TNA World Tag Team Titles, and Nic Nemeth used Call Your Shot to win the TNA World Championship. Huge stuff. And then there’s Forbidden Door — maybe the most chaotic of them all — with Kenny Omega beating Zack Sabre Jr., Jon Moxley retaining against Bandido, Thekla defeating Starlight Kid, Cope and Cage retaining the AEW World Tag Team Titles, Mercedes Moné winning the Women’s Owen Hart Cup, Will Ospreay beating Swerve Strickland in the Men’s Owen Hart Cup Final, and Team Briscoe winning the wild Death’s Door match to earn Mark Briscoe an AEW World Title shot. Tremendous action. Very big league. We also cover a loaded week in wrestling news: Sheamus reportedly nearing the end of his WWE deal, more WWE ID talent being pulled from indie events, Amazing Red and Konnan joining ODB in the TNA Hall of Fame Class of 2026, an opinion piece saying TNA may be the best entry point for new fans, Eric Young reportedly heading back to WWE/NXT in a player-coach role, Tomoaki Honma announcing retirement plans, Mick Foley’s WWE Legends deal expiring as he begins a new chapter with AEW, and WWE reportedly debating the future of The Vision faction while keeping Paul Heyman tied to Bron Breakker.     WWE SmackDown 7/3/26 Review: Sami Opens Strong, Fenix vs Vikingo Delivers, Main Event Flat

    SmackDown gave us a pretty mixed show this week, folks. There was some good stuff, some fine stuff, and one main event that absolutely should have felt bigger than it did. Sami Zayn opened the show as the new Undisputed WWE Champion with a strong promo segment involving Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and Adam Pearce setting up Monday’s title match. The Baddies got a win in six-woman action, Rey Fenix and El Hijo del Vikingo gave us a damn good AAA Cruiserweight Title match, Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes kept their issues hot, and then Cody Rhodes vs. Jey Uso closed the show in a match that felt way too comfortable for a No. 1 contender’s bout. That’s really the story of this episode. Some good character work, a great lucha match, but the final match coasted when it should have been fighting for its life.     TNA Impact 7/2/26 Review: Sosa and Slater Feel Like the Future, Brookside Speaks

    TNA Impact was a very solid show this week, folks. And what I liked most? It actually felt like the future of the company was on display. Ricky Sosa and Leon Slater looked important, the X-Division stayed active, the Knockouts title picture kept moving, and even with some notable names no longer in the mix, TNA still felt like it had direction. That matters. Nic Nemeth opened the show with Ryan and all the usual arrogance, Mara Sadè and Heather By Elegance advanced in the Knockouts TV Title tournament, Fabian Aichner won a fun six-man scramble, Ricky Sosa got pulled into the orbit of both The Righteous and The System, and Xia Brookside laid down the law as the new Knockouts World Champion before Léi Yǐng Lee came for revenge. Then the main event gave us Eddie Edwards vs. Leon Slater, with Ricky Sosa once again ending the night standing tall. Overall, easy show to watch, good momentum, and some younger names feeling like they truly matter. In this review, I break down everything that mattered from TNA Impact 7/2/26 in under 10 minutes.     AEW Dynamite 7/1/26 Review: MJF Retains, Omega Steps Up, and Too Much Fell Flat

    AEW Dynamite was a very mixed show this week. Some big names, some big angles, but a whole lot of stuff that just did not land the way it should have. MJF retained the AEW World Championship against Mark Briscoe in a match that felt far less important than the build suggested. Kevin Knight vs. Lio Rush for the TNT Title did very little for me, the Death Riders and Ospreay tag was weird, and too much of this episode felt like it was spinning its wheels instead of really building momentum. The biggest thing on the show was Kenny Omega stepping up to accept MJF’s challenge for next week with everything on the line. That’s the hook. That’s the money. Omega vs. MJF with Omega’s future title hopes at stake is the kind of story that immediately gives the next show a real reason to watch.
