The spoiled milk in my fridge is more qualified to run the EPA than Zeldin. I like the content of this podcast, but I don’t trust its content or editorial decision-making based on the long-lasting sponsorship by Chevron, so listen w a boulder of salt.
Used to be reputable reporting

Although this show has been sponsored by Chevron for some time, it has provided very good reporting based in fact. The interviews were not hard-hitting but the interviewer used to ask a follow up on answers that might not have been fact-based or clear. Now, for the past 6-8 months, the interviews are absolute softballs, no follow-up questions, and complete lack of fact-checking. I work in the utility-scale industry, representing independent power producers. I see the data. I know the history. This show either does zero research or has completely given in to propaganda. Such a waste. So disappointed.

The show has lost all credibility since the second Trump administration. Once a fairly neutral source of information about the current events of the energy industry, the show has become a mouthpiece for big oil (no surprise as Chevron is the sponsor). The worst episodes are when they interview members of the administration giving them a platform to spread misinformation (looking at you Sec Wright), or when they had API to talk about permitting reform and the host allowed the guest to weasel out of answering questions about the attacks on renewable energy projects carried out by multiple agencies within the administration. Grow a spine Nirmal
