    Ep. 128 [REPLAY] Don't Look Now (1973)

    Welcome back to another episode!! I know I said that the last episode was going to be our last for a while....that's still true but in light of the recent passing of the legendary actor, Donald Sutherland, we decided to replay Ep. 34, Don't Look Now. Don't Look Now is a 1973 thriller/horror/mystery directed by Nicolas Roeg and stars Julie Christie, Donald Sutherland, Hilary Mason, and Clelia Matania. Synopsis: A married couple grieving the recent death of their young daughter are in Venice when they encounter two elderly sisters, one of whom is psychic and brings a warning from beyond. Synopsis: Three film students vanish after traveling into a Maryland forest to film a documentary on the local Blair Witch legend, leaving only their footage behind.     Welcome back to a new episode! This week we watch an oldie but goodie, the 2001 gothic supernatural psychological horror, The Others. The movie was directed by Alejandro Amenabar and stars Nicole Kidman, Fionnula Flanagan, Christopher Eccleston, Elaine Cassidy and Eric Sykes. Synopsis: In 1945, immediately following the end of Second World War, a woman who lives with her two photosensitive children on her darkened old family estate in the Channel Islands becomes convinced that the home is haunted. Synopsis: A house is cursed by a vengeful ghost that dooms those who enter it with a violent death.     Welcome back to a new episode! We continue with our mini-series comparing originals with their remakes with the 2002 original, Ju-On: The Grudge. Directed by Takashi Shimizu, the movie stars Megumi Okina, Misaki Ito, Takashi Matsuyama and Yui Ichikawa. Synopsis: A mysterious and vengeful spirit marks and pursues anybody who dares enter the house in which it resides. (A little different then the remake.) Join us as Mike watches the movie through his hands covering his face and Bonz talks about taking care of an invalid. Enjoy!
