Good show

May: this show gets better and better each week.

This show gets better and better each week. Froch is honest and frank so it’s perfect. Many many years ago I wrote to Carl from Aspen,Colorado and he wrote back saying I was his first American fan. I’d followed Carl since he went to the world amateur. He’s currently a living legend. I was ringside for Joe Calzaghe profession debut. Joe is one of the greatest super middleweight ever, but so is Carl. Their fight would be closer than people think. I think if they fought ten times it would be split. Carl had a better resume but what a fight it would have been. When Carl was chasing Joe he’d have beaten Calzaghe. At that stage in his career I think Joes hands were shot. Both men are legends.

Darren Fletcher is an excellent host, he knows how to draw the best answers from the guests. Carl Froch legend in the ring and honest on this podcast.

The podcast I look forward to the most...

This show is excellent. I like the interplay between Fletch and Froch but the insight Froch provides is on another level. I think one of the other reasons It is so good is that Froch demonstrates real humility which makes me pay so much more attention to what he says versus just listening to bravado all the time. I know you guys read your reviews....I was at your fight vs Glen Johnson in Atlantic city. I had good seats and was sitting behind Your opponents sister and was speaking with her before the fight. It made it really tricky to shout for you. I should have been louder but you had to make do with silent mini fist pumps as I thought it wouldn’t be on to scream for you. No matter, you did the business!

Agree with another reviewer ...

This show gets better each week - Darren Fletcher does a great job of pushing and prodding Froch and Froch takes it without getting defensive and tetchy (which is one problem I find with Jermiane Jenas when Fletcher pushes and challenges him on their BBC Friday Football Social podcast). This podcast offers some great insights on what it physically and mentally takes to be a fighter. Well done and I look forward to future podcasts.
