Hey guys,
Found your podcast about a month ago, when I decided to dive back into X-Men comics, and Marvel comics in general. I’ve been a huge X-fan since the mid-80’s, and collected and read all X books until the early 2000’s, about in the middle of Morrison’s run. Enjoyed the run, for the most part, but was moving and just didn’t have space for more books. I always kept tabs here and there, and enjoyed all the games (X-Men Legends is still the best X-video game ever) and enjoyed most of the movies.
A few months ago, I started cataloging my collection, and was really drawn to seeing what all of these characters were up to in the good ol’ 616, so I read HoX/Pox, got hooked, got a Marvel Unlimited subscription, and now I’m about halfway through Reign of X.
I wanted to find a companion podcast to listen to as I went along, and came across Dawn of X. I started with Ep 1, and was all in from the get go. It was exactly like chilling with some friends, BSing about X-books, and comic media in general. Very casual, very fun and very entertaining. Also not shy about correlating with real world issues and giving a serious, heart-felt, honest take. I just finished Ep 37, where you reviewed Children of the Atom 1, and all of the connecting issues and discussion points it brings up. Absolutely loved it. You guys are great, I hope the next 60+ episodes are more of the same. I look forward to your banter, takes, jokes, reviews and look backs whenever I get a chance. Thanks for all the great content!!! 5 million Xs!!!!
