Sermon | Building On A Prayer

October 11, 2026 Church Service Building God’s Way According to Ezra & Nehemiah, Pt. 10Building On A PrayerNehemiah 1 | King's Chapel Live Stream What do you do when you see something broken and realize you can't fix it on your own? When Nehemiah hears about the broken walls of Jerusalem, his response begins with prayer. Before he makes a plan or takes action, he turns to God. In Nehemiah 1:1–11, we see why prayer must be foundational to the way we live and serve God. Nehemiah’s prayer gives us a pattern to follow: adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication. His example also challenges us to make prayer a regular part of our lives, finding a place to pray, a partner to pray with, and a commitment to keep praying. Prayer isn't a last resort for people who have run out of options. It begins with recognizing who God is and our need for Him. As we build God’s way, we must build on a foundation of prayer. Sermon | When True Repentance Reigns

From our October 4, 2026 Church Service Building God’s Way According to Ezra & Nehemiah, Pt. 9When True Repentance ReignsEzra 10 | King's Chapel Live Stream What does true repentance actually look like? Ezra 10 shows us a people who are confronted with their sin and awakened to godly sorrow. But true repentance isn't simply feeling bad about what we've done. It turns away from sin, leads to costly obedience, and is ultimately grounded in God's amazing grace. And that's where the hope of the Gospel meets us. We all have sin that needs to be confronted. But Jesus was numbered with the transgressors and took our place. In Christ, our names are no longer defined by our sin. They are written in the Book of Life. True repentance doesn't end with condemnation. Because of God's grace, it leads us to hope. #Jesus #Christianity #Bible #Sermon #Faith Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/ For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our Neighbor When True Repentance Reigns, true repentance, repentance, godly sorrow, repentance and grace, hope after sin, God’s amazing grace, grace for sinners, turning from sin, forgiveness, Ezra 10, Ezra and Nehemiah, Building God’s Way, Ezra 10 sermon, biblical repentance, Christian repentance, repentance and hope, Jesus and repentance, Jesus died for sinners, Book of Life, Gospel, Jesus, Christian sermon, Bible sermon, Christian faith, Christian living, Longwood FL church, Longwood Florida church, King’s Chapel

Sermon | God's Passion for Purity

From our September 27, 2026 Church Service Building God’s Way According to Ezra & Nehemiah, Pt. 8God's Passion for PurityEzra 9 | King's Chapel Live Stream What does it mean to live differently because you belong to God? In Ezra 9, God’s people are confronted with the ways they have drifted from the holiness God calls them to. But God’s passion for purity isn't simply about following a list of rules. It is about who His people are and who He is making them to be. We are called to be holy. We are set apart for God’s glory. We are called to live differently from the world around us. And ultimately, we are called to become like Jesus. The good news is that God doesn't simply tell us to become holy and leave us to figure it out on our own. In Christ, we are made holy. God is continuing His work in us, and one day we will be fully like Jesus. #Jesus #Christianity #Bible #Sermon #Faith Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/ For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our Neighbor God’s passion for purity, purity, holiness, living set apart, called to be holy, Ezra 9, Ezra and Nehemiah, Building God’s Way, Ezra 9 sermon, biblical holiness, Christian holiness, what does it mean to be holy, living for God’s glory, set apart for God, Christian identity, becoming like Jesus, being like Jesus, following Jesus, Christian living, Gospel, Jesus, Christian sermon, Bible sermon, Longwood FL church, Longwood Florida church, King’s Chapel

Sermon | God's Good Hand of Provision & Protection

Building God’s Way According to Ezra & Nehemiah, Pt. 7God's Good Hand of Provision & ProtectionEzra 8:1-35 | King's Chapel Live Stream What do you do when you don't know if you'll have what you need for the journey ahead? In Ezra 8, God's people are preparing to make their journey home. They need people, leaders, resources, and protection. And throughout the journey, they see the good hand of God providing for them and protecting them. God provides undying hope, wise leaders, generations of blessing, and the resources needed to build His kingdom. He protects those who seek Him and keeps His people safe on their journey home. The good news is that everything God requires of His people, He provides for them. And ultimately, God's good hand of protection has nail holes. His provision and protection point us to Jesus, who gave Himself for us and brings us safely home. #Jesus #Christianity #Bible #Sermon #Faith Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/ For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our Neighbor God will provide, God’s provision, God’s protection, God is faithful, God provides, trusting God, God’s good hand, Ezra 8, Ezra and Nehemiah, Building God’s Way, Ezra 8 sermon, God provides what we need, trusting God’s provision, God protects His people, Christian encouragement, God’s faithfulness, journey with God, Jesus, Gospel, Christian sermon, Bible sermon, Christian faith, Christian living, Longwood FL church, Longwood Florida church, King’s Chapel

Sermon | God Gave Us Preachers

Building God’s Way According to Ezra & Nehemiah, Pt. 6God Gave Us PreachersEzra 7:1-18 | King's Chapel Live Stream Who should we trust to lead us? In Ezra 7, we meet Ezra, a priest and teacher who knew God’s Word, lived under its authority, and taught its transforming truth to God’s people. His life gives us a picture of what faithful spiritual leadership should look like. But Ezra was never meant to be the final answer. His life points us forward to Jesus, the ultimate Preacher and King, who leads His people with perfect wisdom and authority. God gives His people preachers to teach His Word, lead His people, and point us to Christ. A quick note about this recording: We experienced some technical difficulties during the sermon, so there was a delay in getting this message posted. Sermon | God Gave Us Prophets

Building God’s Way According to Ezra & Nehemiah, Pt. 5God Gave Us ProphetsEzra 5:1-5, 6:13-22 | King's Chapel Live Stream Sometimes we get so focused on our own lives that we lose sight of what matters most. In Ezra 5 and 6, God’s people had begun rebuilding the temple, but God used prophets like Haggai and Zechariah to call them back to what mattered. They needed to realign their priorities, soften their hearts, and find the strength to keep going. God's message through His prophets was simple: Consider your ways. Return to Me. We need that reminder too. Our priorities can drift. Our hearts can grow hard. And sometimes we try to accomplish what God has called us to do by our own strength. But God doesn't simply tell us to try harder. He calls us back to Himself and strengthens us by His Spirit. In this message from Ezra 5 and 6, we look at why God gave His people prophets and what their message means for us today. Sermon | God Has Adversaries

Building God’s Way According to Ezra & Nehemiah, Pt. 4God Has AdversariesEzra 4:1-6, Neh. 4:1-9 | King's Chapel Live Stream What do you do when following God gets harder than you expected? In Ezra 4 and Nehemiah 4, God’s people face opposition from people both inside and outside the community. They’re pressured, frustrated, confused, and tempted to become afraid. But opposition doesn’t mean God has abandoned His people. God protects His people, and ultimately, He defeats every enemy. For Christians, that hope points us to Jesus, who has already conquered sin, death, and the greatest enemy we could ever face. If you’ve ever wondered what to do when doing the right thing gets hard, this message is for you. Sermon | God Has A Priority

Building God’s Way According to Ezra & Nehemiah, Pt. 3God Has a PriorityEzra 3:1-13 | King's Chapel Live Stream As God's people return to Jerusalem in Ezra 3, they have a lot to rebuild. But before they rebuild the temple, they build an altar. Why? Because God's priority is His worship and His glory. In this message from *Building God's Way According to Ezra & Nehemiah*, we see how Ezra 3 points us to a greater reality: worship isn't something we fit into our lives after everything else is taken care of. God Himself is our priority. The altar points us to the sacrifice God provided through Jesus. The temple points us to God's desire to dwell with His people, ultimately fulfilled through Christ and the Holy Spirit. And the joyful shouts and weeping of God's people remind us that our worship exists in the tension of the "now and not yet," as we look forward to the day when God will dwell with His people forever. If we're going to build our lives, our church, and our community God's way, we have to begin with what matters most: **God's glory and our worship of Him.** Connect with King's Chapel in Longwood, FL - ▶️ www.kingschapelfl.com▶️ https://www.facebook.com/KingsChapelfl▶️ https://www.instagram.com/kingschapelfl/ For the GLORY of our Great GodFor the GOOD of our Neighbor Ezra 3 sermon, Ezra 3, Building God's Way, God has a priority, worship comes first, worship sermon, God's glory, Ezra and Nehemiah sermon series, Christian worship, Jesus sacrifice, Holy Spirit temple, God's presence, King's Chapel Longwood
