In this episode I was joined by the ever so fabulous and talented Ella Veryde via ZOOM! as we discussed.. - The ways to stay happy during a pandemic - Gender Expression - How She became a Drag Queen - The benefits of therapy and how it should normalised in todays society. - Maintaining that happiness And more... . After a good few months of not podcasting, it was great to sit down and talk to Ella (aka Matt) who gave off such a warm, calm and inviting presence. She was open about her Drag journey and how times have been tough previously but a solid support network of friends can truly move you forward. We spoke in depth about the benefits of therapy and how it should be as normalised as going to the gym. Having good Mental Health is integral to functioning on a day to day basis. We spoke about how Drag is seen as an expression of her gender and her fluidity, something I am very much on board with. Being able to express the ways she is feeling and enhancing the gender expression is admirable. I know Ella outside of drag and she is an inspiration and breathe of fresh air in today's world.
