Hi there Kat and Ashley, Tonights podcast episode was very disturbing however, I feel very positive about you sharing this with your listeners. Domestic Violence is on the rise. Victims need to know there is help out there. Just ‘Say Something’ to Someone before it is too late! Just listened to the Georgette Bauerdorf episode. I was shocked at all of the victim blaming. A quote from the episode, “Georgette supported the military... that’s, like, what they did back then, I guess. And it ended up getting her killed.” Then calling her “high maintenance” and this was based on nothing. She worked and volunteered and still had time to travel to see friends and family but she’s “high maintenance”. Blaming victims is terrible. Do better ladies. Come on.

I heard about this podcast from another. I thought I could trust them. They said “ooo it’s so creepy”. It is not. It is a Houston Radio Show, turned into a podcast. Apparently a YouTube channel also. So the commercials are Houston based. I hope they are paid twice for them. Apparently they do not earn enough to sound proof the room they record from as you can hear everything else. I listened to the first 31 episodes. It did not get better. The first 15-20 minutes is inane chatter about what beer they are drinking and what they are watching on Netflix. So what. They talk about only having so much time to discuss the “mystery”. If they would cut out the inane chatter and stay off FB until the end they would have plenty of time. If they would cut out the Houston commercials that have nothing to do with the rest of the world, they would have more time. If they would just say the name of the beer and leave it at that, they would have more time. If you are going to Listen skip the first 10-20 minutes and the last 10. There were about 10 interesting episodes of the 30 I listened to. Definitely listen to the episode about human trafficking as it is by far the best.
