    Townsend Bell stops by to talk about his fatherhood journey. He shares the values he looks to instill into his sons as they were growing up. He shares some incredible stories about his time racing and how going to the Brickyard at a younger age inspired him to get into motor sports. Lastly, we finish the interview with the Fatherhood Quick Five.  About Townsend Bell  Townsend Bell, a native of San Luis Obispo, California, joined FOX Sports as a race analyst for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES in 2025, the inaugural season for the series on FOX. Bell, a versatile American racer and the 2001 Indy Lights Champion, has competed in 10 Indianapolis 500s with a best qualifying position of 4th and a best finishing position of 4th. The California native started in professional sports car racing in 2012, winning the prestigious 12 Hours of Sebring on his first attempt and went on to score victories in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the IMSA GTD Championship. Making his television debut for Sky Sports in Europe, Bell also worked for NBC Sports as an NTT INDYCAR SERIES analyst and SPEED Channel as part of the network’s F1 coverage. Too small for a major Division I football scholarship, Birden walked on at the University of Oregon, earned a starting role, and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in 1988. What followed was a nine-year NFL career. It is the longest on record for any player weighing under 160 pounds in the last 35 plus years. He played for the Browns, Atlanta Falcons, Kansas City Chiefs, and other organizations, competing every season against defenders who had every physical advantage over him. What he lacked in size, he made up for in preparation, precision, and an ability to find the opening when none seemed to exist. After football, Birden took those same principles into the business world. Therefore he was building a career as a keynote speaker, performance coach, and leadership consultant. He now works with Fortune 500 companies, sales organizations, and executive teams, helping high performers identify the "coverage" in their professional lives and build the mindset and systems to beat it.
