    Bernardo Osuna Talks Fatherhood, Working At ESPN, Take Back Sports Program, Broadcasting & More 

    Bernardo Osuna Jr. sits down with me to talk about his fatherhood journey. He shares some honest moments about being a dad. We also talk about having twins and how he and his wife looked to instill certain values into their daughters as they were growing up. After that we discuss the Take Back Sports and Let’s Play programs from ESPN and Disney Jr. He talks about why youth sports is important if it is done the right way. Next we talk about what inspired him to get into sports broadcasting and now having a show with one of his sports heroes, Julio Cesar Chavez. Lastly, we finish the interview with the Fatherhood Quick Five.  About Bernardo Osuna  Bernardo Osuna Jr. is one of the most prominent bilingual sports authorities in Los Angeles. He joined ESPN in August 2011 as a commentator for ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN International. He currently serves as the lead bilingual commentator and reporter for ESPN and ESPN Deportes’ boxing coverage. In addition, he hosts A Los Golpes alongside Mexican boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez. Osuna has covered several World Series, Super Bowls, NBA Finals, and the MLS Cup Finals. Plus he has covered Gold Cups, Confederation Cups, World Cups and numerous boxing championship bouts.   His experiences as a reporter have seen him fly in an F-16 with the U.S. Air Force “Thunderbirds,” drive a NASCAR vehicle, ride in an IRL car, try out for the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team and has also appeared in video games.  Most recently, he voiced the “Don King Presents Prize Fighter” video game. Osuna is a 1994 graduate of Loyola Marymount University having received a double major in communications and Spanish literature. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his family.     Coach Anthony Becht Talks Fatherhood, The UFL, Coaching, Playing & More  

    Coach Anthony Becht sits down with me to talk about his fatherhood journey. We talk about the values he looks to instill into his kids. In addition, we talk about how coaching is similar to parenting. We move into his career by talking about winning Coach of the Year this past season in the UFL. He shares the lessons he learned as a player in the NFL, being a broadcaster and now a coach. Lastly, we finish the interview with the Fatherhood Quick Five.  About Anthony Becht  Anthony Becht is the Head Coach of the Orlando Storm. Selected in the first round (27th overall) by the New York Jets in the 2000 NFL Draft, Becht played 11 seasons at tight end in the NFL, also spending time with Tampa Bay, St. Louis, Arizona, and Kansas City. From 2000 to 2010, he played in 152 consecutive games. It is the third longest streak in the NFL over that time period behind only Brett Favre and Peyton Manning. Following his playing career, Becht worked as a college football analyst for ESPN and hosted the New York Jets pregame show before being promoted to their radio color analyst in 2024.  In addition, He also coached Tight Ends in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl before accepting the same position with the San Diego Fleet of the Alliance of American Football in 2018.A graduate of West Virginia, Becht was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame in 2024. In addition, he received the John Russell Award. Plus, he was named the Mountaineer’s Most Valuable Player in 1999. Becht also served as a Trust Captain for the NFLPA Trust from 2015-20 and remains Legends Community Southeast Coordinator. Becht and his wife, DeeAnn have a son and daughter. Dan has been involved in many aspects of the entertainment industry with a focus on the 'sci-fi' and fantasy genres. He is a recognized expert on fan relations and the world of fandom. In 1979, at 18 years old, he founded The Official Star Trek Fan Club with Paramount Pictures and friend, Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry.
