    Erin's brother Ethan guest co-hosts while Doug recovers from the flu. They enthusiastically and somewhat chaotically cover these topics: *Gabby's hawtness *Adam's built-up resentment towards his familial obligations and lack of healthy boundaries *Julia's unsatisfactory career origin story *Kristina's past career achievements *Sarah's toxic relationship cycles AND, most of all, they talk about how NONE of these problems are, like, actually real problems, but their love for the Bravermans endures.

    Episode 6: Bicycles, You Know?!

    On this week’s episode, Doug and Erin lament over Joel’s lie of omission and discuss how lying about something bad only makes the bad thing worse. They also grapple with cheek kissing versus mouth kissing and staying in touch with your inner voice. They dig into all the details of Crosby’s paternity test and how he finally tells his parents that he is a parent!     Episode 5: Ridiculous Reactions! Ridiculous Reactions!

    On this week’s episode, Doug and Erin discuss the multi-faceted motivations that Braverman men bring to the game of baseball, how Adam and Kristina continue to deal with Max’s diagnosis, and how Adam continues to deal with the fact that Haddie still has a boyfriend. They also express strong opinions about the characters of Jasmine, Raquelle, and Katie. During the Shitting on Sarah segment, they lament how she projects her own unprocessed trauma and anger into lovely Adam. They also clumsily talk about the stereotype of the “angry black woman” when Doug brings up Jasmine’s “rage issues” and Erin preaches a little about the importance of accepting the things you’ve been taught to not like about yourself, and how if someone can’t accept the truth of your whole being, they don’t deserve a space in your life.     Doug and Erin discuss Crosby’s developing identity as a father, Adam and Kristina’s reactions to Haddie having a boyfriend, and Sarah’s terrible tendencies of dragging her kids into her emotional hang-ups. They also dive deep into some tough parenting topics such as: good reasons for taking away a child’s cell phone, how to provide consequences for bad behavior, and making rules as well as enforcing them. Erin brings in her own life experiences to her analysis of the episode, and together they muse on the importance of honest, open conversations and the problems that occur when someone expresses their fear as anger.
