    Political Frenzy

    Between the new maps in PA, the absurd petitioning cycles, and all of the races happening in the upcoming midterm elections we have so much to discuss. If you live in PA don't forget our upcoming primary is happening on May 17! Nationally, we are making history in the highest courts of the land, we are so excited about Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson! The Biden Administration has once again pushed back the start of student loan repayments (yea, we're still calling for the cancelation as promised over here). This episode Ashley and Pierre Defecto talk with Pittsburgh Public School Board Candidate Delancey Walton. She is running for the seat in District 9 and we are here for this race.  This episode is full of inspiration and energy from the youngest candidate on the ballot. Grace is a candidate for the Pittsburgh Public School Board District 1 seat and this race is one we surely have our eyes on. Martell and Ashley have a personal community investment in this particular district, so the conversation definitely gets into the meat of what we know needs to change when it comes to our public education system. This candidate comes through with so many gems and as we repeat through this episode, it's a breath of fresh air. Grace is endorsed by Black Women for Better Education as well as Black Political Millennials.  What does all this school board stuff mean? We discuss how this years court of common pleas race is a BIG DEAL - we have nine seats up for grabs.
