    We are living in challenging times. The Bible warns us that these times would come and there has always been a conflict between God's word and the world. The word says not to do certain things and the world tells us the exact opposite. We know that its always to our best interest (because God has you in mind) to follow the word instead of the world. The world has led many astray but the word will never led you astray.

    Following God and taking a stand for faith requires a strong dedication to God. The king had a special diet for Daniel and his friends to feed on, but they decided they would feed on their beliefs and service to God instead of the the king. God would protect them for their strong dedication to Him. Sometime we are put in difficult positions as Christians but that should not determine who we serve as children of God. This message proves that if we take a stand for God, He will stand with us and see us through any situation we may find ourselves in.

    Dodging Defilement

    How do you avoid defilement in a world that offers it so freely? Dodging defilement is not easy, but there is a great lesson that we can follow from Daniel. Daniel could have just decided to go with the flow that everyone else was following, but refused because he knew that it would draw him away from God.
