    173. Fruit That Remains Part 2

You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that theFather will give you whatever you ask for using my name. Michael Vidulich takes John 15:16 and turns it into something you can actually check yourselfagainst. Not how long you have been saved. Not how much you know. Whether you are becoming morelike Christ, and how you would know. He works through six honest questions. How quickly do you obey God, given that delayed obedienceis disobedience. How do you respond when life does not go your way, since anyone can praise Godwhen it is easy. Are you harder to offend than you used to be. What comes out of your mouth underpressure, because pressure does not change you, it reveals you. What do you do when nobody iswatching. And are you becoming more generous, because growing Christians become less focused onthemselves. Sara joins in through most of it, and the two of them land on something worth sitting with: youcan pray for world hunger to end, or you can put your hand to something and let God bless it.God has already done everything He is going to do. He sent His Son, He sent the Spirit, and Hegave the assignment to us. There is a story in here about a stolen Escalade, a Sunday morning he refused to miss, and whathe decided to say instead of what was true in the natural. 171. The Death of the Casual Christian

A Savior requires thanks. A Lord requires obedience. On a Sunday morning at Grace Community Church, Evangelist Michael Vidulich opens 2 Corinthians 4and preaches the difference between the two. Most believers have a Savior they are grateful for.Fewer have a Lord they obey. That one distinction changes everything about what your life withGod looks like. This is not a message about trying harder. It is about how good God is, and what He is ready todo the moment you stop coasting. God shows no favoritism, so what you have watched Him do insomeone else's life He is willing to do in yours. The devil is already underneath your feet.Jesus already made a public spectacle of him. And the truth outweighs the facts, even when thefacts have a name and a diagnosis. Michael preaches it the way he has lived it. The restaurant he walked away from rather than leta young believer stumble. The hard phone call he made to a cousin he loves. The Sunday morninghe stood in an empty parking spot and refused to confess a loss, and what God did by noon. If you have drifted, God has not moved. You do not have to stay a casual Christian. 00:00 Intro 00:14 Cold open 01:35 Fight the Good Fight 03:38 Trouble Is an Opportunity 05:13 I Wasn't God's First Choice 06:22 Money Isn't the Problem 08:35 The Gospel Still Works 10:28 Savior or Lord? 12:30 God Has No Favorites 14:51 Broken Fellowship 15:42 The Hard Rock Steakhouse 19:14 The Glass of Wine 23:05 The Devil Believes in Your Calling 26:10 Guard Your Miracle 28:03 Feelings or Spirit 30:53 A Spectacle of the Devil 32:43 Our Power Is from God 34:58 The Truth Outweighs the Facts 36:12 Word and Spirit 39:52 I Believed, So I Spoke 40:55 Somebody Borrowed My Escalade 45:38 A Covenant Has Two Sides 48:32 What Are You Speaking? 170. The Law of Momentum

An object at rest stays at rest. An object in motion stays in motion. Newton wrote it aboutthe physical world, and Michael Vidulich makes the case that it is just as true of your walkwith God. Momentum does not happen to you. It gets built. And the way God builds it is the way He builtit for Joshua at the Jordan: He gives the promise first, then He gives the instruction, and theriver does not part until somebody's feet are already wet. The miracle followed the step. From the studio, Michael and Sara walk through five principles of spiritual momentum. Momentumbegins with obedience. Small victories create great victories. Consistency creates momentum, because what you do every day shows what you love. Momentum must be protected, since it isbetter to maintain a thing than to regain it. And momentum makes difficult things easier, asone breakthrough opens the door to the next. Along the way they share the testimony of a woman in Rockford who came into the meeting with awalker and three liters of oxygen, and walked to the altar without either. Many people pray for open doors while refusing to take the first step. They want a miraclewithout obedience. If you have been waiting for the water to part before you move, this one isfor you. 00:00 Intro 00:14 Cold open 00:24 Newton's First Law 01:16 If It Doesn't Take Faith, It Doesn't Please God 02:27 Joshua 3: The Year of Fulfillment 04:57 God Gives the Promise First 08:20 They Talk Themselves Out of It 10:56 God Is a God of His Word 12:17 Stop Looking at Other People's Lanes 15:07 Momentum Without Movement 15:29 Go Out and Win Souls 16:46 1.
