The host (who seems like a very nice person) tends to meander around the point she’s trying to make. She keeps referring to her “notes” but it doesn’t appear as if there’s any concise outline with specific points to address, but rather she just takes note of the scene and makes rambling observations on the fly.
She makes a lot of references to the band Phish, which is fine, if that’s what you’re into, but I downloaded to listen to Bravo Housewives stuff.
I downloaded every episode. Almost finished the first one, skipped to the second one to see if it got any better and ended up skipping to the third about halfway through. After the intro of the third episode, I skipped to the first RHONY episode and the beginning of the episode was about getting engaged and she was crying because her cat ran away? Skipped to about thirty minutes in to actual Housewives-centric content (not the popular tv shows or songs on the premiere date, etc. which she does for every episode for some reason?) and finally gave up on it altogether. I deleted all the episodes and unsubscribed.
I like the concept and like the podcaster, but everything needs more precision and polish. A lot can be edited. Like that “first podcasting burp.” We didn’t need that.
