Definition of collective wisdom: also called group wisdom and co-intelligence, is shared knowledge arrived at by individuals and groups👏🏽I believe that sharing experiences is the best and ultimate way to learn.

Why reinvent the wheel when you can just take the regrets, failures, successes and triumphs of those you want to be like! I do this every. Single. Day. With guests from the podcast and people I follow! ✏️

Fin is someone who does this really well, through his podcast @ellenave_ and his Facebook group: collective wisdom, he lets the “everyday person” share their gems with the world. He’s also super onto it himself, younger than me and a total inspiration! I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it - one to watch! 🔥

Ep 70 - The Challenges of Starting a Business as a First Generation Immigrant ft. Founder of Kanchiko

Ep 70 - The Challenges of Starting a Business as a First Generation Immigrant ft. Founder of Kanchiko

Saylesa and I actually went to highschool together but she has now moved over to the US with her family! Through the hectic lockdowns, she gained a passion for makeup! Doing mainly editorial looks, things started gaining traction and finding some cool products she thought she could start something herself!

The brand started off with beauty products but as of the 27th of Feb they will be launching fashion wear! So exciting for her and to see such quick growth of something that started so humbly is something I loved interviewing her about!

A really important topic Saylesa focused on was the challenges that have come with this journey involving family, upbringing and society in general! I really enjoyed hearing this perspective and commend Saylesa so much for what she has managed to achieve in such a short space of time!

Ep 69 - Can We Talk? Hustle Culture, Burnout & Managing Rejection w/ Felicia Aull

Ep 69 - Can We Talk? Hustle Culture, Burnout & Managing Rejection w/ Felicia Aull

The first of many “Can We Talk?” Episodes ✨✨

In this episode I have the lovely @feliciaaull of @florescence.podcast & @soulfamilynz - She is one of those high achiever types, constantly has 5000 things on her plate and literally striving everyday to be the absolute best version of herself possible!

I admire this type of drive and diligence - something that can often come with this massive work load is burnout, if not managed properly. Sometimes we can also get caught in what’s been labelled as “hustle culture” and amongst all of that, there’s bound to be times where shit just keeps going wrong.

We get to hear about all of this plus more on how Felicia deals with it and why these topics are really close to her heart! I have pretty split opinions on this topic and sometimes struggle to articulate my thoughts on it so really happy to have Felicia here to so gracefully communicate her experiences and tools!
