Greg and Vicki Syverson have served in Pachuca, Mexico, for 25 years. During that time, their ministry has grown from helping another church to planting three churches and building a ministry school focused on equipping everyday believers to do the work of ministry. But their story has not followed the plan they expected. When their mission agency told them to return to the United States to raise support, they thought fundraising was the reason for the trip. Gilbert Mfitundinda grew up in southwestern Uganda. Through Compassion International, a stranger helped support his education. After college, while reflecting on 1 Corinthians 13, Gilbert felt God challenge him to consider what he could give others. His conclusion: little is enough when given with love. Gilbert and his brother Edward started Love Restoration and a Christian school with about 20 children and two staff members. Today, the school serves more than 340 children with more than 20 staff and is developing a larger campus.
