Episode 006 - Can you lose your salvation?

In this episode we discuss what it means to be saved, or born again, and how we can be confident in our eternal security in Jesus Christ! “Christian conversion is the transformation which we experience when we are born of God. Since one is not born over and over again, we must think of Christian development in two phases: birth and growth. A child, for example, is born once. True, he falls down many times, but when he falls he doesn’t need to be born again. His falls, his bumps and bruises are all part of growing. So it is in the Christian life. Birth is sudden, once and for all, but development is the work of an entire lifetime. We can be converted in a moment: the precise moment that we accept Christ. But it takes a lot of prayer, Bible reading, church-going, and Christian service to make a mature Christian.” - Billy Graham Scripture/Links: Acts 2:21, John 1:12, Romans 10:9, Philippians 2:9,10: the NAME of Jesus Ephesians 2:8, Matthew 10:22, I Corinthians 15:1,2: saved by FAITH Hebrews 10:36-38: Endurance John 10:25 and verses following, Ephesians 1:13,14: eternal SECURITY Galatians 5:16-25, Matthew 7:18 and verses following: FRUIT of the Spirit https://www.desiringgod.org/labs/five-truths-about-eternal-security John Piper video Please submit YOUR questions by emailing questionsontheway@gmail.com or DM us on Instagram @questionsontheway.
