One Hit Thunder

I have listened to One Hit Thunder every week for years. Chris and Matt do a great job of digging into artists with a single hit to their name and discussing how they got there and what became of them afterwards. But now OHT has unexpectedly been joined on Fridays in the feed by Belvedere Bros, an episode by episode breakdown of the 80’s sitcom. I didn’t expect to enjoy this show, as I’ve never watched Mr. Belvedere beyond a few reruns here and there. And truthfully, there’s almost no chance I start watching it now. But listening to Chris and a rotating cast of other “bros” break down each episode has become a charming way to spend 45-60 minutes at the end/beginning of the week! The episodes of the podcast are interesting and well-paced, and easy to follow even for folks like me who aren’t watching along.

I love OHT. It’s perfect for my drive to and from work. Very entertaining even when the song isn’t in my wheelhouse. Interesting trivia and comments related to the artists and songs. I have mentioned your show on other pages.

OHT is a amazing podcast everyone should listen to! Anything to do with music and the facts about the bands make you love( or hate) the artist even more. BUT BELVEDERE BROS TOOK IT TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL. I never watched the show. But listening to Chris and his bros ( or Markeet) go through every episode makes me laugh out loud constantly it’s like I grew up watching it but never did. I give these podcasts 12 scotch eggs. Listening to Chris makes me feel like I’m part Of the gang and will always return every week!
