    Guarding The Gate (Sacred Don't Mean Spotless)

    Before you hit play: Some of what I'm about to say may ruffle a few feathers in the spiritual community. That's okay. You don't have to agree with me. I'm simply asking that you hear the entire conversation before you decide I've lost my d*mn mind. In this episode, I talk about warding and protecting your peace, your home, your nervous system, and the little corner of the world that belongs to you. We'll discuss threshold magic, salt, iron, bells, red brick dust, smoke cleansing, and why our ancestors understood that what enters a home eventually enters the spirit. But this conversation goes deeper than protection. I'm pushing back against the idea that sacred means spotless. If you're chronically ill, neurodivergent, grieving, caregiving, healing from trauma, or simply surviving, your clutter is not a moral or a spiritual failure. A lived-in home is not bad energy. Survival environments do not always allow perfection, and sacred can still exist there. You have the sovereign right to protect what's yours.

    I Am The Damn Table

If you’ve spent your life being the one who handles everything- the planner, the fixer, the emotional support, the one who never drops the ball- this one’s for you. We’re talking about hyper-independence as a trauma response, invisible labor, and the kind of exhaustion that comes from being load-bearing and unseen. At some point, “I got it” stopped being strength and became self-protection. And maybe… it’s time to put some of that weight down. This episode also includes a guided ritual to help you call your energy back and start reclaiming what’s yours. Not everyone gets access to you anymore. And that’s not selfish. It's necessary.
