My Journey Through Addiction - Intro

My name is Ryan Houlihan; I have been sober from drugs and alcohol for almost 2 and a half years, and this series of Podcasts will hopefully be informative, as well as (somewhat) entertaining. This is just the intro, but the series will dive into several topics, as well as several milestones/ checkpoints of my life. Events such as- Being sent away to military school, my introduction to drugs, multiple hard turning points in my life, Dying twice, 5 car accidents in one month, jail and prison stays, my introduction to AA and NA; and much more will be discussed in a story-time like format. Topics such as- Medical Marijuana for addiction recovery, Suboxone/ Subutex and Methadone, prescription medication/ professional help, video games, and much more will be discussed based off my own experiences and information I have researched online. This is my first time doing something like this. My public speaking experience is limited to that of AA and NA meetings/ commitments (going to a recovery facility and speaking to the occupants in a one hour, Speaker Meeting, format. Any feedback is always greatly appreciated, but I would like to ask that it is limited to constructive feedback only. Thank you for thinking about giving my story a chance.
