Imagine Moving On is a phrase with several meanings. It is borrowed from the book The Biology of Desire: why addiction is not a disease, by Marc Lewis. In the book the phrase suggests that personal change will not be realized until the desired outcome can be imagined as possible. This podcast originated as Stop Recovering Start Living, dedicated to understanding and overcoming addiction. Starting with season 5, Imagine Moving On will be dedicated to understanding human behavior and self-improvement more generally, with increased focus on spirituality.

    Increasing Awareness of Authentic Self

    I am working on a guided meditation to address the heart as a symbol of the authentic self and opening it up. That sentence doesn't adequately explain it. This episode intends to explain it, but it too may not do it adequately. Also, not sure what happened with my recording setup, but my voice came out sounding slowed down, pitch affected somehow. I caught it and recorded a introductory disclaimer using a different microphone. I don't always listen to the episodes before I publish them or even after, so this may have been going on for a few episodes. Whatever the situation is I'll have to figure it out going forward. Hopefully it's not too disrupting to listen to.
