    Meet my friend and former teammate, Cardell Rawlings. He has a relentless spirit that has helped him find success on and off the field as a professional athlete and entrepreneur.  He had one of the greatest single season performances in Wingate football history, and has pro football experience in the NFL and CFL. Now Cardell plays pro football in Japan, all while operating his brand called, 7digits2commas!     WITR TOUR- Colorado Springs, CO: The Covington's

    Meet my friends Josh and Hilery Covington! I've known them for almost ten years and they have been married for seven years (SHEESH!). Needless to say, I have mad love for the two! They were the first stop out west on The Wisdom In The Room Tour. I'm so grateful for the amazing conversations we had on and off the mic. A lot of times, I can forget that we are the same age because they are raising spectacular children. It is beautiful to witness my friends growth as adults and parents. I learned a lot during my visit that gives me hope for my future family! Throughout this episode we reflected on 2020, talked about relationships, being millennial parents, mental health, and so much more. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did!     Self-Acceptance (Am I suppose to hate myself?)

    In this episode we talk self-acceptance centered around a recent photo shoot I did. For me, I came to the realization that I did not accept myself (mind, body, spirit), and that was revealed to me through lack of acceptance for my physical body. Society deems what is considered a "nice" body, but what if my body doesn't measure up to societal standards? Am I suppose to hate myself? Shame myself into changing? Our bodies are our bodies, we cannot receive another one. I encourage you to embrace every part of your being (mind, body, and spirit), and operate from a place of self-acceptance. We will find it hard living our life if we never learn to embrace the image we see in the mirror. You are worthy. You are enough.
