Guest: Eva Welscher Eva Welsher, born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan has had some type of racquet in her hand since she was a child. She was a top Junior Tennis Player in the country before becoming a scholar D1 athlete for Northwestern University. She helped NU win Big Ten Titles as well as be one of the best tennis programs in the country. She has lived a full life after tennis being married for 32 years to Geoff Welsher and has two sons, Geoffrey and Mac. After her boys grew up, she then competed in Paddle Tennis and became one of the best in the country as well before she finally picked up Pickleball. It's been 5 years of training and competing for her. In 2021, she was #1 in Sr. Women's Doubles and Sr. Mixed Doubles. In 2023, she has won Gold in Sr. Mixed Doubles in 6 of her 7 tournaments with different partners and won her 2"d Gold Medal in the US Open Sr. Mixed Event. She ended the year as the #1 Senior Mixed Women's Doubles players in the world Eva loves Pickle Ball because it is an "inclusive sport.' Everyone is welcome.
