As an Anthropologist, Hansen's background in football has always been of a spectator, but in this short documentary, she follows three different female officials working their way up the ranks. We break down what the role of females look like in administering a game and what unique challenges they face. Females in sports, inspirations, future of different genders in football, and how important it is to share these women's stories are all topics expressed in this episode.     "Prior to the Snap" is a podcast where host Mallory Green  discusses the profiles of football pros. In Episode 1 (pilot episode) she speaks with the Coordinator of Officials for the NCAA Big Sky Conference.  Karl Richins is a 30 year veteran of college football officiating.  He speaks in detail about his experience, the difference between on and off the field, what gives him the most pride in his job, as well as his post season training academy.
