    In 2013, Angelique Miller hit Year 3 of founding and operating her non-profit- 180 Degrees & Still Standing.  Built with the purpose of providing free meals to at-risk youth, Angie and her team of 100 employees worked together to feed 10,000 kids throughout Los Angels County. Just as the non-profit began to thrive, Angie woke up to the notice of half of her state funding being cut... What started off as Angie's greatest year of running the non-profit quickly began to turn into a test of perseverance and determination.  About Angelique Miller: Angelique Miller is the founder of 180 Degrees & Still Standing and the Co-Owner of one of LA's favorite soul food trucks, Not Your Mama's Kitchen.

    Year 2: Ellen Bennett of Hedley & Bennett

    Year 2 of business for Hedley & Bennett Founder Ellen Bennett was stacked with major moves and lessons. The work wear innovator got rid of her safety net after quitting a part-time job, she moved into an office large enough to house a small (but mighty) team and became thoroughly acquainted with both the positive and negative aspects of being the "cool kid" on the block. All of these experiences have contributed to Ellen's ability to turn a self-funded apron company into one of today's most popular culinary brands.  About Ellen Bennett: Ellen Bennett is the founder and CEO of handcrafted culinary brand Hedley & Bennett.
