They Burned Our Plane… But God Had Other Plans! | Allen Speer

What do you do when gangs burn your missionary airplane to the ground? Do you give up, or do you believe God for the impossible? In this powerful episode of Greater Than Podcast, Elijah Murrell sits down with Allen Speer, CEO of Agape Flights, to hear an extraordinary testimony of faith, supernatural provision, and God's faithfulness in the face of seemingly impossible circumstances. When gangs in Haiti destroyed one of Agape Flights' missionary airplanes, Pastor Allen stood among the ashes and boldly declared, “What was meant for evil, God is going to turn for good.” What happened next was remarkable! An unexpected phone call set the stage for an incredible testimony of God's provision. Within just 90 days, Agape Flights had a better airplane—and it was completely paid for! But the story doesn't end there. Pastor Allen also shares how God sustained their ministry through heartbreaking tragedy, the loss of two pilots, and challenges that seemed impossible to overcome. Through it all, one truth remained unchanged: God is faithful! This conversation will stir your faith, challenge you to believe beyond your circumstances, and remind you that what looks impossible to man is never impossible with God! Don't allow your circumstances to determine what you believe God can do! IMPORTANT LINKS TO FOLLOW: https://agapeflights.com/ Please visit my website: https://www.murrellministries.com/

Did God Really Command Genocide? | The Goodness and Severity of God

Did God really command the destruction of entire nations, including women and children? How can a loving and merciful God issue such severe judgments? In this episode of the Greater Than Podcast, Elijah Murrell examines two of the most challenging accounts in Scripture: God's judgment on the Amalekites and the destruction of Jericho. Why did God wait generations before bringing judgment? What role did iniquity play? And why were Rahab and the Kenites spared when others faced destruction? As we explore these questions, we'll uncover a remarkable connection woven throughout Scripture—one that reveals something extraordinary about the character of God. God's goodness never compromises His justice, and His justice never cancels out His goodness. Join us as we consider the goodness and severity of God and discover why understanding both matters.

The Medication That Ended My Soccer Career — And Changed My Life | Pastor Jesse Bradley

In this episode of Greater Than Podcast, Elijah Murrell sits down with Pastor Jesse Bradley to talk about his remarkable journey from atheism to faith, professional soccer to ministry, and loss to unexpected purpose. Jesse was pursuing his dream as a professional goalkeeper when a medication intended to protect him became toxic to his body and abruptly ended his playing career. With soccer gone and so much of his identity stripped away, Jesse was forced to confront a deeper question: Who are you when what you do is taken away? Elijah and Jesse also discuss: • Finding your identity beyond your accomplishments • Moving from atheism to faith in Jesus • The difference between the gifts and fruit of the Spirit • Bringing together the Word and the Holy Spirit • Reaching the next generation with an authentic faith • How God can use unexpected setbacks for a greater purpose If you've ever experienced a setback, lost something you thought defined you, or wondered what God could possibly do with a dream that seems to have died, this conversation is for you.

Kenneth Hagin The Good, the Extremes, and the Truth | SJ Newell

In this episode of Greater Than Podcast, Elijah Murrell sits down with SJ Newell, creator of "The Objective Believer," for an honest and nuanced conversation about Kenneth E. Hagin, the Word of Faith movement, speaking in tongues, healing, prosperity, and the controversies surrounding these subjects today. Having personally heard Brother Hagin minister during the final years of his life—and after spending years studying the Word of Faith movement—SJ offers a perspective that goes beyond the caricatures. What did Kenneth Hagin actually teach? What have his critics misunderstood? Where did some within the movement go to extremes? And how did Hagin himself respond when he saw abuses developing around teachings he had helped popularize? This isn't about pretending that every excess was justified. And it isn't about dismissing an entire movement because of its extremes. It's about going back to the question Kenneth Hagin himself continually emphasized: What does the Word actually say? Whether you grew up in the Word of Faith movement, have serious questions about it, or have only heard about Kenneth Hagin through his critics, this conversation may challenge what you think you know about his legacy. In this powerful episode of Greater Than Podcast, Elijah Murrell sits down with Pastor Mark Machen to discuss one of the most misunderstood truths in the Christian life: freedom.
