    Special Slice: Here For A Good Time, Not A Long Time

    It's been a while, hasn't it? Let's catch up and let me tell you what's up as I ring in a new year and a new decade in my life. It's been a busy last couple of years, but I'm still here. This episode is dedicated to the people who continue to support me, my work and my antics no matter how much life is life-ing. I'm forever grateful and thankful to every single person and opportunity that's come my way. I hope this episode brings you a couple of slices of what l(a)ife has gone through since the end of Season 1. Who knows? Maybe this may be the start of brainstorming for Season 2. To a third decade. Cheers.

    Ep. 11 - It's Been Awhile

    Lai is back. Or somewhat back. Catching up with a short update on what's been going on in life, why the hiatus, who to stan, a reminder to maskup and go vote.     Ep. 10 - It's OUR Month and Lai's 14% ABG (feat. Leanna)

    It's Asian-American Pacific Heritage Month. (We believe that's how you say it. We hope that's correct.) Lai invites a fellow creative and college friend, Leanna, on the podcast to celebrate May, the month for Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders. What does it mean to be Asian, the upbringing, experience, and most importantly, to take the ABG test. Especially as someone who originally came from the west coast and started a new life on the east at the age of 17. Learn more about Leanna and hear her story growing up as a hustling Asian-American and how she copes with the current climate.

    Ep. 8 - Parents Are "Graduating" From Facebook

    How many times have your parents or family members forwarded you a chain letter or some news that you knew was completely fake? In these times where news and information spews out in all different directions, flooding our feeds, it becomes a major concern when our parents are sharing and spreading unconfirmed and unverified information. As a member of the tech-savvy generation, it is my duty (along with many others) to help our parents and others be well-informed with the right information and make sure we're not spreading any type of negativity within our communities. Lai invites listeners and followers to discuss what else bothers them during quarantine and also what do they miss.

    Week 3 of quarantine and dressed in sweatsuits, Lai shares some personal recommendations on what Korean dramas to watch. Though not really a big fan of dramas, Lai comprises a list containing variety shows for those who want to get into K-pop. From the Girls' Generation episode of Intimate Note to the episodes of Running Man and the fascination behind Prison Life of Fools - a show based on the game Mafia, Lai briefly mentions what shows to binge.

And yes, this is where Lai mentions some of her favorite male K-pop idols.

    Ep. 5 - Serving Some Food For Tho(ugh)ts

    In the midst of the nation's self-quarantine to flatten the curve, Lai hops on the mic for a last minute episode to vent out some frustrations and whatnots relating to the current state of world. Specifically, the state of the nation and how it's being led at a slow pace with no proper protocol and other inconveniences for the rest of the country; from people who are have a hard time to get through medical professionals for COVID-19 testing, to understanding why people are hoarding toilet paper and, of course, the xenophobia and racist remarks against the Asian and Asian-American community. Not alone to serve some tho(UGH)tful insight, Lai invites friends and followers to join in the conversation to let them vent out their frustrations and speak out their thoughts.
