    Mother's Day Thoughts

    Mother's Day can be a such a wonderful and happy time for so many people. All over we get together to celebrate our Mom's and shower her with love and affection. For Mother's themselves, it's a day to love on their kids and enjoy the benefits of motherhood. For others, this day can also be a painful reminder of what was lossed. A mother, a sister, a grandmother or even a child itself. Today I open up and share about my experience with loss and how it has impacted me in relation to Mother's Day.     Self-Awareness: 32 Years of Dating Me!

    Today I talk about self-awareness and what it means and looks like to me at (almost) 32. I share some great quotes and give a bit more insight into who Adrianna aka AD is and how I've grown over the years as it pertains to self awareness. I also give some helpful hints into how you can start your self-awareness journey and/or put your current awareness into action. Awareness is half the battle. It's what you do with it that matters.

    Quarantine VS Incarceration

    One month into a statewide shelter in place order and many people are starting to feel trapped, boxed in, and comparing those feelings to being incarcerated. Today I give my thoughts on that comparison and discuss why I think it's inaccurate. I discuss the differences between the reality of being locked up and a stay at home order. There are plenty to talk about but these are the ones that came to mind for me specifically. Listen in then sound off with your own thoughts.     Labels Don't Define You!

    Welcome to the FIRST OFFICIAL EPISODE of THE A.D. EXPERIENCE. On today's episode I talk about how we as a society label other people based on certain characteristics they have. I talk about how those labels subconsciously influence or dictate how we end up treating people. Whether we treat them good or bad. Have you ever prejudged or treated someone differently based on a label placed on them? What about a label they have chosen to identify as? I know I have.
