    John Godfrey short video "Masculinity - is it really Toxic?"

    CAUTION! This video is my opinion and what I personally see happening in our country (The United States). The subject is a little different from the normal podcast. This is just me talking openly about how I feel, but to some it may be controversial! (NOTE: this is an old recording. Pardon the background noise, I was driving during the recording.} Is Masculinity Toxic. Do we need to completely do away with manhood in favor of other ideas about what a man should be? Do we need a softer version of manhood or maybe a stronger more macho version? This short video( under 5 minutes) from a few years ago takes a look at that phenomenon from my personal view. As a Christian or even a non-Christian, what kind of man should you and I be? How should we raise young boys to become men or does manhood matter anymore?   This is a a brief discussion.

    Rapture? What Rapture?

    There are a few things in Christian circles that stir debate on a regular basis and one of those is thee subject of the Rapture! There are many views regarding all aspects concerning the Rapture from the timing of when it will happen; i.e. Pre-Trib (Before the Tribulation), Mid-Trib (in the middle of the Tribulation), and Post-Trib (meaning the Rapture will occur after the Tribulation). Confusing Huh? Add to that the ones that do not believe in the Rapture at all, saying the word Rapture is not even in the Bible.  Hopefully this podcast will shed some light on questions being asked regarding this Christian topic. For those of you that may not be familiar with the Christian idea of a Rapture, here's a brief definition of what that term means. Certain Christians believe that in the "end times" the church (Born again Christians) will "Raptured" or caught up, snatched away, by the Lord Jesus himself to meet him in the air. In first Thessalonians the Apostle Paul used the Greek word "Harpazo" which means to snatch away concerning the church around the time of the Tribulation.  The English version or replacement of the word Harpazo is Rapture. Joan Rivers, the late TV personality, used to often say, "Can We Talk? This Podcast is my way of asking the same thing, "Can We Talk?" Lets just talk about the Rapture. This podcast is not preaching to you or even teaching, its my way of talking about things pertaining to Christianity and your response or input is always welcomed.  If the Rapture is a true doctrine of our faith, then we should be concerned enough to understand it. Is the concept of the Rapture Biblical? Is the word Rapture mentioned in the Bible at all? Has anyone ever been Raptured before? When can we expect the Rapture? Is it close at hand or not according to scripture? So, can we talk?

    Six Ways To Miss Heaven

    We all want to go to Heaven in the end. Even those that say they do not believe in Heaven would love the idea of eternity where peace, Love, Happiness, and Good Health could be theirs for the asking.  For those of us that do believe in a literal Heaven I simply ask you, On what do you place your Trust and How Can you Know for Sure that you won't mIss Heaven? After all Jesus did mention in Matthew 7:21 and following that "Not all that say Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. So who do you think he's actually talking too? Who will it be in the last days that stand before him believing they are going tp Heaven when in reality they won't; and why not? "Six Ways to Miss Heaven" is my attempt to look for the answers.  I'm just an average person that believes Christians should share the Truth of the Gospel as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ. I believe there is a large amount of Deception about Christianity in these Last Days. I am not wanting to Offend anyone, yet if I fail to speak concerning the Deception and False practices that I see, then  I ultimately am failing my family, my friends, and most pf all Jesus himself.
