Healthy Aging for Women: What to Check in Your 40s and 50s 💜

Live and Learn with Katie, Learn Something New! What if the biggest signs of aging aren't the wrinkles you see in the mirror, but the changes happening inside your body that you're not paying attention to? 💜 In this episode of Live and Learn, Katie sits down with Barbara Purdom, board-certified holistic health practitioner and founder of RevitaLife, to explore what women may be overlooking as they age and why healthy aging goes far beyond skincare and hair products. From fatigue and brain fog to hormonal changes, muscle loss, and changes in your skin and hair, Barbara shares what deserves more attention as we get older. ✨ She also challenges some common spending habits, including expensive skincare routines and supplements, while discussing preventive screenings, nutrition, movement, and how to advocate for yourself when something doesn't feel right. 💭 Are you spending money trying to look younger while overlooking what your body actually needs? This conversation might change what you pay attention to and what you stop spending money on. #HealthyAgingForWomen #WomensHealthAfter40 #MOMnation Connect with Barbara Purdom of RevitaLife: 🌐 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555038594324 🌐 Website: https://revita-life.com Connect and follow us: 🌐 https://www.facebook.com/MOMnationUSA ✨ This episode is prerecorded. ✨

How to Research an Elected Official Who’s Running Again in AZ

Arizona State and Local Government Without the Overwhelm If someone is already serving in office and asking for your vote again, there is something a first time candidate does not have yet: a public record. But where do you find it? And once you do, what are you actually looking at?In this episode of Kate48, I sit down with Arizona State Representative Stacey Travers to learn how regular Arizona voters can research someone who is already serving in the Legislature. We talk about where to find a legislator’s record, how to look up bills they have sponsored, what prime sponsor versus cosponsor actually means, what committee assignments can tell you, and how to find voting records. But we also get into something I found especially interesting: a single vote does not always tell the whole story. Stacey explains why the actual language of a bill and unintended consequences can matter when you are trying to understand why someone voted yes or no.We also talk about campaign promises versus actually governing, what questions voters should ask someone seeking reelection, how to research an incumbent when you only have a few minutes, and why asking “How are you actually going to do that?” can be one of the most useful questions we ask a candidate. This is not an endorsement of Stacey or any political party.Kate48 is about making it normal again to ask questions, seek information, understand how our government works, and make our own informed decisions. If politics has ever made you feel like everyone else somehow knows something you don’t, this conversation is a good place to start.Connect with Stacey: https://www.traversforaz.com/Connect with Katie: https://www.evoaz.com/katie-halle-lambert/This is a pre-recorded video. Why Your Paycheck Disappears Before the Month Ends 💸

Make Dollars Make Sense Ever look at your income and think, “I should have more money left than this”? 💸 In this episode of Make Dollars Make Sense, Katie Halle Lambert, Trudi Kayser, and Jenn Stone unpack why a paycheck can look great on paper but still disappear faster than expected. From subscriptions and convenience spending to commissions, overtime, school costs, holidays, car repairs, and other expenses that keep coming back, the conversation gets real about what a monthly spending plan actually needs to include. You’ll hear practical ways to track where your money is going, plan around inconsistent income, and prepare for expenses before they turn into financial stress. 💰 They also dig into why keeping more of what you earn takes more than writing down a budget, plus how separate savings accounts, percentage based planning, and intentional money habits can make managing everyday finances feel more doable. If you have ever wondered where your money went even though the numbers looked fine, this conversation will give you plenty to think about. ✨ Your money needs a plan before it arrives, not an explanation after it disappears. 💵 #SpendingPlan #MoneyManagement #BudgetingTips Connect with Trudi: https://www.facebook.com/trudi.kayser Connect with Jenn: https://www.facebook.com/jenn.stone.31 Connect with Katie: https://www.katiehallelambert.com/ Tune in now on YouTube (@momnationUSA) or your favorite podcast platform under MOMnation Talk Radio.
