    Generations of Escape Rooms

    Escape Rooms have quickly evolved from just boxes with a few locks to entire immersive experiences with five rooms, actors, altered reality, and VR. These are some of the differences between rooms and how they can effect player experiences. For the most part, new effects and gadgets are a good thing! But when the machine gets too complicated it can be expensive and maybe even more trouble than it's worth for owners. What do you prefer? A manual experience with clear locks and keys? Or rooms with all the automated interactions, AI, and video game elements?

    Ian Solves a Puzzle Box

    Corrie designed a short twenty minute puzzle box for Ian. If you haven't played a room before or a Break in Box, this is what it looks- I mean sounds like. Will this make sense in a podcast format? Great question. But we had to find out anyway. Every box and every design we learn more about what works for players and what doesn't! The problem solving is what makes the job so enjoyable.
