    Prep Steps

    Episode 194 starts off highlighting some small changes for a function reshape: a relocated disc, three drain paths, compact forms, along with testing an experimental quartz nail the team already suspects will not work. The test fails, but the diagnosis paves the way for upgrades and re-works. Then it is out to the studio for a hand ground joint, a carefully cut yellow RBR perc, the finishing steps on a custom Nano DD Halo RBR, layered color blends, and the cleaning and prep that happen before putting a piece back in the kiln for final touches.

    Post Sesh

    This episode starts with the first completed Patreon Design Challenge, a member-submitted piece combining two RBRs sharing one joint and mouthpiece. Evan breaks down its four diffusers and braided drains, and also revisits the Pump Station style prototype from the last episode, while reflecting back the giant pieces people got to try during this year's Patreon Sesh. Then it is out to the studio where Evan shows off the aftermath of the Patreon Sesh, some clear Micro RBR work, hand-mixed color, a traditional quartz bucket, and a gravitationally driven neck bend.
