Created and Renewed by God | Trinity Sunday Sermon Genesis 1 Matthew 28

What does it mean to belong to the Triune God? On Holy Trinity Sunday, we hear how the Father creates, the Son redeems, and the Holy Spirit sanctifies. From the opening words of Genesis to Jesus' command to baptize all nations in Matthew 28, Scripture reveals the one true God working for our salvation. In this sermon, we reflect on how God not only created the world but continues His work of recreating sinners through the Gospel, calling us by name in Holy Baptism and sending us into His mission with the promise of His presence. Whether you are exploring Christianity, returning to church, or seeking encouragement in your faith, this message points to the God who made you, redeemed you, and continues to renew you through His Word and Sacraments. Trusting Christ in the Midst of Trouble / “Let Not Your Hearts Be Troubled” John 14:1–14

When life feels uncertain, where do you turn? In this message from the Fifth Sunday of Easter, we hear Jesus speak words that still bring peace today: “Let not your hearts be troubled.” In John 14:1–14, Christ points us to Himself as the Way, the Truth, and the Life the One who holds us steady even when everything else feels uncertain. This sermon explores what it means to trust Christ in the middle of real-life struggles. Not a distant hope, but a present promise: Jesus remains faithful, guiding His people and working through His Church to bring hope, peace, and salvation. Drawing from Acts 6–7, we also see how God continues His mission through His people even in times of tension, opposition, and suffering. Strengthened by His Word and gathered around His gifts, we are invited to live with confidence in the One who holds all things together. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or searching for something steady, this message is for you. Come hear the good news of Jesus the One who meets you in the midst of trouble and leads you into lasting peace. Support the show Thank you for joining us.
