Sharon Bronson - Pima County Supervisor, District 3

After 23 years in office, Democrat Sharon Bronson is running for re-election as a Pima Supervisor with a record of supporting education, refusing the anti-immigrant Stonegarden grant, and fighting climate change. In office since 1996, Sharon has also worked to implement economic development strategies that provide high-wage job growth, reduce economic disparity, and improve regional livability. She is also a strong proponent for criminal justice reform that provides equal protection under the law for all people. She also serves on the Chairman’s Circle for Sun Corridor Inc., is a board member of Visit Tucson, and serves as the Pima County representative to the Arizona Border Counties’ Coalition. Bill Mundell - Candidate for AZ Corporation Commission

A Democratic Candidate for the Arizona Corporation Commission, Bill discussed: • Dark money corrupting Arizona elections. • Water sustainability as power plants that suck up available water. • The unjustified rate increases by monopoly utilities. • Corporations having a duty to treat employees with respect and dignity. • Public schools, and how a utility opposed increasing funding for teachers. • Climate change. When he chaired the Commission, Arizona became one of the first states to require utilities to generate a percentage of their electricity from renewable energy sources. Those early decisions laid the groundwork for the statewide Renewable Energy Standard Tariff (REST), of which bill was the principle authored.

Rex Scott has been a Pima County resident since 1991, having moved here when he was 27 years old. He has served our children as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal at 7 schools: Flowing Wells Junior High School, Gridley Middle School, Doolen Middle School, Ironwood Ridge High School, Catalina High School, Howenstine High School, and Tortolita Middle School. Richard Elias - Pima County Supervisor, District 5

Richard Elías, Chairman of the Pima County Board of Supervisors, believes the responsibility of elected officials is to represent all of their constituents, including those with the greatest needs. He is focused on securing social justice for everyone, which requires among other things the provision of quality public services, the protection and enhancement of workers’ rights, and the reduction of disparities in the delivery of health care. A fifth-generation Tucsonan, Richard works to celebrate the area’s rich history and to preserve the historical and archaeological artifacts that contributed to making ours the unique and vibrant community we enjoy today. He has represented the west side of urban Tucson, and midtown, on the Board of Supervisors for 18 years. He represents District 5, which is Pima County's most urban district, and home to 50 neighborhood associations and neighborhood organizations. Richard was most recently elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2016 and is running for re-election. He has dealt with issues such as rejecting operation Stonegarden grant money, supporting background checks at the gun show, and the opening of a $31 million expansion project at Kino Sports Complex. He supports access to quality preschools for all Pima County children, converting juvenile center wing to shelter asylum-seekers, and he supported the unsuccessful Proposition 205 to make Tucson a 'sanctuary city.'
