Abuse Exposed Podcast

Listened to episode 73 “Silent Treatment”. Great podcast voice! This topic was definitely an important one. Learned about silence and how it is used as a form of abuse. Gaining control by getting a reaction from the target. Interesting role play scenes. Really evokes the emotion of hurt. The actress did a great job in this illustration. I can recall seeing silence used in this way. I remember trying to use it with my parents. I have since learned that it is a cruel form of control. Communication is so crucial. My heart goes out to victims of this abuse. Many people do not even know they are dealing with narcissists. Thank you for this breakdown and for publishing this episode. We need this awareness to not repeat this vicious cycle. Recommend this podcast to anyone who has ever encountered or recovered from abuse.
