Who needs hormone replacement therapy? With Optimal Bio founder and OB/GYN Dr. Greg Brannon
Dr. Brannon practiced as an OB/GYN for 30 years prior to founding his hormone replacement practice, Optimal Bio. He brings a candor and fresh perspective to how and WHY we are approaching symptoms so many women (and men!) are faced with at all ages, and so frequently dismissed by their providers. Optimal Bio bridges the gap for those seeking relief with highly qualified medical providers who are able to assess the patient holistically and meet their needs.

Liver Failure at 36? The Alcohol Culture with Karla Adkins
Most of us have pre-conceived notions of what we feel alcohol dependence looks like, including Karla Adkins. At only age 36 she found herself in the hospital dying of liver failure, from what she thought was a socially accepted coping mechanism. Her journey to rock bottom inspired our conversation about what truly drives so many to drink, and how we can change conversations around alcohol.

Liver failure at 36- amazing episode
I’m a clinical social worker and my clients are primarily women. I myself learned thru this episode that being a “heavy drinker” means 2 or more drinks a day for women. I plan to share this with my clients who have shared that their relationship with alcohol no longer serves them. Thank you for such an important conversation!
