    Welcome to this week’s episode of Motivational Moments with Maria.  This day 6 years ago I took a giant leap of faith.  I stepped down from a Coaching Position I loved to branch out on my own and it was the best thing I could have done for myself and the clients I serve. I was scared, I was worried and I know one thing…when I make a commitment to do something, I will make it happen. I follow the framework I developed for myself and today seems like the perfect time to share it with you.  It’s a New Year and I want you to navigate your next chapter with confidence and courage.  Welcome to the 6 Cs of Your Personal Shift: Navigating Your Next Chapter with Confidence and Courage. I’m so glad you’re here. In today’s episode you’ll get a practical, compassionate framework—the 6 Cs—to move from stuck to in motion, and a clear next step to keep your momentum going after we finish. Let’s discuss why you are here and why you listen in to these podcasts or for that matter any podcast on personal development. Naming what’s going on for you reduces shame and increases choice. I hear these quite a bit so if it resonates with you, then you have tuned in to the right channel: 1.Feeling stuck and unsure what comes next. You know you want a change, but you’re not sure of the direction, the steps, or how to start. That’s normal—and it’s the biggest driver for seeking guidance 2.Losing confidence in yourself and your decisions. Maybe you’ve felt disconnected from your inner strength and want to trust your voice again. 3.Feeling disconnected from purpose or a meaningful “why.” You crave alignment—something that feels exciting, grounded, intentional. 4.You are a lifelong learner and know that personal growth is a way of life. Of course, I echoed that energy and reframed the holidays as a place for tenderness and truth: name what you need, celebrate what you’ve done, and plan without punishing yourself. December can be a strategic sweet spot. The pace is slower, inboxes are quieter, and people are often more accessible for conversation and collaboration.     The Power of Compartmentalizing Your Time and Projects Welcome my friends to this week’s episode of Motivational Moments with Maria. As always, I am inspired, grateful and passionate about the work I do. Every day I wake up and always start the day with this one question: Who needs me on my A game today? When you are a servant leader and know what your purpose and passion is, it’s not work, it’s a calling—and I get to work at this incredible career. Living your dream life isn’t just about the destination – it’s found in the work we do, the love we share and sometimes the laughter in the rain. Let me start with a question for you today. Ever finish a day feeling busy but strangely unfinished? I see you nodding your heads. Then what happens? You start to feel guilty that you didn’t get everything done and start spending late nights to catch up at the expense of your health—and all of this is the tax you pay for constant context switching. If your brain feels like it has 27 tabs open and one of them is playing mystery music, you are not alone. Today, we’re going to give your mind a breather, your calendar a makeover, and your confidence a fresh coat of “Oh yes, I can.” What compartmentalizing really means (and why your brain will thank you)  Think of compartmentalizing as giving your time little labeled containers—like Tupperware, but for your focus. You decide what goes in each container, when you open it, and what stays out. No more letting Deep Work sit next to Leftover Guilt.

    Who Are You When Everything Changes?

    Hello, beautiful souls, and welcome to Motivational Moments with Maria. I’m so grateful you're here with me today. As we honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month and celebrate the incredible spirit of womanhood, I want you to settle in deeply with this question: Who are you when the roles, the titles, and even your health have been fundamentally challenged? It’s a question that hits close to home for many of us, and certainly for me, as a two time breast cancer survivor. Life’s major events—those that shake us to our very core—have a way of stripping away all that feels familiar. Suddenly, the identities we’ve built become fragile or even feel out of reach. It’s challenging. And if you’ve been through something like this, you know the emotional landscape afterwards can feel profoundly lonely. But today, I want to tell you something beautiful: that place you find yourself in, stripped down, vulnerable, searching—is actually fertile ground for growth and transformation. Before we dive into our guide for this week, I want to share something very personal with you—something many of us face but don’t often speak aloud. When I first heard the words, “You have breast cancer,” I felt as though time stopped. A flood of emotions overwhelmed me—fear, confusion, and that crushing loneliness that settled heavy in my chest. Suddenly, the future I had imagined slipped away, replaced by uncertainty. But what scared me most were the questions swirling in my mind about my children—What will happen to them if I’m not here? Who will love them the way I do? Who will guide them through their lives? Those thoughts hit me like waves—relentless and frightening.
