    Happy belated Father's day to all. This episode is coming from my truck while at work. Not to much to talk about, but did you get a chance to see the New York Knicks parade? And the girls fighting, twerking and acting crazy? What a sight...lol. Congrats to the Knicks again and to the Carolina Hurricanes for winning the Stanley Cup. Soccer, the World Cup has been great for the United States. We have made real progress in this tournament. I didn't get a chance to talk about the NBA Draft and free agency, but the draft is on Tuesday, really? Check out this episode and enjoy the rest of your week.     After 53 years, the New York Knicks are world champs! This is the greatest championship run of any sports team in history. This whole series has been wild, crazy, and unbelievable for anyone that watched it. The way the Knicks were calm under the pressure of being down in every game in this series was unbelievable. The Ssn Antonio Spurs were young and they might be back, but after what the Knicks did, we will have to see. Congrats to team USA in their win over Paraguay in the opener of the World Cup. The Vegas Golden Knights grabbed a 2-1 series lead over the Carolina Hurricanes in two overtime. The winner of the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Stakes was Golden Tempo.     The GURU is back after a few weeks off. There has been some very hard times, but we are getting through this rough stretch. The New York Knicks will play the San Antonio Spurs after a thrilling game seven, ousting the defending World Champs, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The GURU is going with the Spurs in 7. My Vegas Golden Knights are heading back to the Stanley Cup Finals against the Carolina Hurricanes, after shocking the Colorado Avalanche in four straight. The GURU Is going with the VGK in 7. There has been several people that we had to say goodbye to, but the Saxophone genius, one of the last great jazz musicians of our time has left us. Sonny Rollins was no doubt, one of the last greats that made jazz one of the greatest art forms in music history. He was legendary in every sense of the word. When we take a look back and mention the greats, Coltrane, Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins has to be considered in the top tier of greats. At 95 years old, he was the last of era gone by. This episode is dedicated to him. We will be back next week with Episode 316, enjoy the rest of your Sports Weekend and be safe.

    The 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby was historic! Cherie DeVaux was the first woman trainer to win this race. Jose Ortiz was the 9th jockey to win both the Derby and Kentucky Oaks in the same year. History made! What happened to the Boston Celtics? They lost this game from the start of this game with the absence of Jason Tatum. Joe Mazzulla had no clue and the Philadelphia 76ers took advantage of their lack of Celtics superstar, and mix and match lineup. The New York Knicks destroyed the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night and will face the Sixers in the next round. Jim Palmer ate a chicken wing, for the first time.
