Members leaving K-pop bands, is it grief?

Hongbin recently left VIXX, so as Starlights we've been wading through memories and talking to one another and feeling sad together. In this episode we share our thoughts about the process of having a member of the K-pop group you love leave.

  2. 06/18/2020

    Fanfic opinions + BLM update!

We have an update on the BLM situation in fandom and how it developed, then a hard turn into our first (of probably many) talk about fic. Collaborative writing, multifandom love, shipping. We brush on the more general topics of fanfic writing, as writers and consumers of the genre. (This is a week old recording, as I was figuring out how to edit in the app. We usually won't edit unless for technical reasons and our call dropped in the middle, so I had to stitch audio clips together. - Maria)

  3. 06/04/2020

    BLM and fandom

A conversation -between nonBlack supporters of BLM- about Yoongi's mixtape controversy, the K-pop industry response to BLM, and the fandom response on social media regarding BLM. (A Blade so Black by L.L. McKinney is the book I mentioned!)
