    The World the Way It Is

    Financial markets are tanking, Middle East tensions are escalating and the American political system is in a cycle unlike any other ever seen. The Democrats are skipping steps in our traditional electoral process. Tenets once seen as basic, even sacred, no longer seem to apply. Things like robust competition between candidates, basic consent of the governed regarding rules and process, the opportunity to cast one’s vote for those ostensibly tapped to represent your interests.     Ahead of Texas’ March 5 primary, Planet Logic’s Lynn Woolley and Political Pursuits’ Lou Ann Anderson discuss the House District 55 race which pits incumbent Rep.     One Giant Step for Tyranny

    There’s much to be said for being a happy warrior but after this week, sometimes you just can’t quite get there. Indictments, arrests, nonsensical charges, politically-motivated prosecutions, suspensions of basic Constitutional rights and a multitude of additional assaults to life as we know it visibly looming on the horizon. Political Pursuit’s Lou Ann Anderson and Planet Logic’s Lynn Woolley discuss recent developments further catapulting our country toward totalitarianism. Some Americans are thankfully horrified with engaged patriots assessing their next steps and the more passive yet astute at least beginning to assess the need for concern.
