This month is a little different. Gavin Myers, editor of New Zealand Trucking magazine joins Dave McCoid for a discussion that takes in the first two industry conferences of the season, plus they cover-off the OEM Update and Powering On courtesy of Dave's recent trip to the MAN pre-IAA press event in Germany. It's a great yarn. This year's road transport Hall of Fame function is a whole new doo, with a conference heading a solid half week of road transport discussion, activity, and celebration. We catch up with head of marketing at Transport World, Nicole Sharp to get an idea of what's in store. Clear the Air is the section where co-host Dave McCoid and his good mate and Environmental champion Lindsay Wood discuss the climate and envirionmental issues of the day, as they should be discussed - respectfully! This month, impending global food shortage, the energy crisis, and infrastructure! There's no rabbit hole Lindsay and I are afraid of! On Schedule is the series where Dave McCoid, editorial director at New Zealand Trucking Media, speaks with the National Road Carriers senior team and guests on a broad selection of topical industry subjects as well as the work the association does – the wins, the challenges, and the strategies taken on key issues of the day. This month, it's a fascinating chat. A PhD in economics, Stuart is a senior fellow with Motu Research based in Wellington, working at the interface between economic research and public policy.
