If Only We Knew How Good God Is (Pt.3) (353) - June 6 2026

Let us thank the Lord today that His Word is not only forever settled in heaven (Ps 119:89), but it also purifies our soul. Are you saved now? Are you one of God’s children? Do you remember, we were all once in darkness, in a filthy place, rolling around in sin like scarlet and crimson from Isaiah 1:18, we were like pigs in a pigsty. Filthy muddy from the bottom of our feet to the top of our head, enjoying the pleasures of our flesh, but seemingly lost. Never having experienced the cleansing power of the Love, Nature and the Blood of Christ Jesus, and how His Word is able to cleanse us of all of that filth. Even today, we are born again and we still make mistakes. It ‘s not the Lord’s will for us to keep sinning, His will is for us to be grow up into Christ. Being like Him by our obedience to His Word, to His commandments, and by the power of the holy Spirit we are transformed when we slow down and chew, meditate on His Word, according to Romans 12:1 and 2. So if and when you slip up, and you feel dirty and guilty inside, in your soul, your mind, will and emotions…… let us read how the blood, the finished Works of Jesus, the Word of Life now benefits us when it comes to being set free from all sin and sickness. God has made provision by the blood of Jesus, the Word of God, the Word of Life, for us to be cleansed. This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Psalm 119:89, Romans 12:1-2, 1 John 1:1-10, Ephesians 5:25-26, Matthew 5:16, Romans 11:36, 2 Corinthians 5:17. Have You Tried Everything Else? Try Getting To Know Jesus and Let Go of Idols (Pt.5) (350) - May 16 2026

Sometimes people can unknowingly be serving other gods and idols. How? By not taking the time to really know who Jesus is, and by continuing to serve a fake Jesus created in their own minds — shaped by popular opinions and false ideas about Him. What do I mean by this? When our own desires become louder than Jesus — louder than truly knowing Him and obeying what the Lord says — that desire has become an idol. Some people’s idea of Jesus is that He exists to do magic for them. That is what they are looking for. They live in a world where they go to people for magic in their lives, so when they come to Jesus, they expect the same thing. They don’t realize that magic is an evil thing. They hold on to the idea that everyone — including God — works like the idol they have created in their mind. Some people want Jesus to strike down the people they don’t like. Yes, I know that sounds eye-opening, but it’s true. They are used to removing people they don’t like in their own lives, and they expect Jesus to operate the same way. Some people only want the power of Jesus and not Him. 2 Timothy 3:5 — “For although they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].” Some want Jesus to be nothing more than a bank machine who stays silent. They are used to getting only what they want and nothing more. Some people don’t want to hear correction, truth, holiness, or righteousness — they just want the blessings of Jesus. God wants you to realize that some requests you make of Him are contrary to His will. He cannot do evil. In Him there is no darkness at all, so to ask Him to do evil is not who He is or what He does. 1 John 1:5 — “And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [no, not in any way].” Commentary: It is important to begin to know who God truly is so we can pray, live, and understand effectively as we grow. Matthew 7:22-23 — “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?’ And then I will say to them openly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].’” You can see that it’s not about getting what we want — knowing Jesus is what truly matters. Key Points: Creating a version of Jesus vs. who He really is Vain imagination Renew your mind in order to know the Lord Finding JesusThis program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): 2 Timothy 3:5, 1 John 1:5, Matthew 7:22, Acts 10:38, Matthew:16:13–16, John 6:68-69, John 1:1-3, 2 Corinthians 10:3-6, 2 Timothy 3:1-5, Isaiah 55:3, Isaiah 55:6-9, Romans 12:2, James 1:21, James 4:7-10, James 1:22-24, John 14:6-9, John 1:1-3, Jeremiah 29:11-13, Philippians 4:6.         Support the show Click Here to Send Us Your Prayer Request.

Have You Tried Everything Else? Now Try Jesus (Idol Worship, Cont'd) (Pt.4) (349) - May 9 2026

You might be thinking, why are we doing a part 4 on idol worship? Because it’s time to wake up to the reality of the things you are doing to yourself. Yes, there are things that the devil tries to do, but sometimes the enemy doesn’t even have to attack you because you are attacking yourself. Sabotaging yourself, feeding the darkness in your life yourself. Yes, you might be your own weapon formed against yourself.   Luke 19:10 - 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.   Commentary - Sometimes, we are lost and it’s not because of the idols. Make sure you are just lost and not a part of, deliberately defying or running away from Jesus. Why, an idol has no power unless we give it power. How, we open the door ourselves to sin and evil. God’s warning - Exodus 20:3 says - 3 You shall have no other gods before or besides me.   We decide to do the action of coming into agreement with idols and worshipping them. We decide to make bad choices, we decide to be around evil people, things, to get what we think they will give us. It is people who carry out the sin by agreeing to do things.   Example – Some people have decided to go to witch doctors and let evil into their lives. Some people are doing witchcraft. It’s people who have abused children. Then they cry out for the Lord to help them after killing, stealing and destroying. Yes, idols are a part of things but you have to agree to do the sin, go in debt, have sex outside of marriage, steal someone’s things, not pay your bills, spend the money, not study for school exams. These are only some examples. Remember we reap what we have sown. This means what you have done to others, wished against others, prayed against others, it’s all coming back to you. Do you have fear of the Lord now?   Hosea 4:6 - 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you [the priestly nation] have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you that you shall be no priest to Me; seeing you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.   Revelation 3:10 - 10 Because you have guarded and kept My word of patient endurance [have held fast the lesson of My patience with the expectant endurance that I give you], I also will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial (testing) which is coming on the whole world to try those who dwell upon the earth.   Biblical idol definition - 1 John 5:21 - Little children, keep yourselves from idols (false gods)— [from anything and everything that would occupy the place in your heart due to God, from any sort of substitute for Him that would take first place in your life]. Amen (so let it be).   Topics for this week:  - We can be our own worst enemy  - Know the devices of the enemy  - Results of worshipping idols, continued  - Removing idol worship from your life   This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Luke 19:10, Exodus 20:3, Hosea 4:6, Revelation 3:10, 1 John 5:21, Exodus 32:7-8, John 10:27-28, Isaiah 53:6, 1 Peter 2:25, 2 Corinthians 2:11, Exodus 32:7, John 10:7-11, Isaiah 44:6-11, 1 Corinthians 10:12-15, Zechariah 4:6, James 5:16, Hebrews 13:5-6, 1 Corinthians 10:23-24, Proverbs 24:3-5, Proverbs 24:12, Proverbs 24:14, 1 Corinthians 5:10, 1 Corinthians 5:12, Leviticus 26:1-14. Have You Tried Everything Else? Now Try Jesus (Idol Worship) (Pt.3) (348) - May 2 2026

Last week we left off talking about idols—specifically, how you cannot serve two masters, the results of worshipping idols, and removing idol worship from your life. It is important to really pay attention here. We can all overlook things that we think are not important. The key is that the things we think are not important may actually matter a great deal. We must train ourselves to see what Jesus thinks is important for us to have or not have in our lives. If we are the only ones evaluating our own lives, and we think we are perfect, we will likely never identify the issues and idols hidden there. Remember, if you want your life to follow Jesus, you need to become a disciple of Christ and do what He says. If you are not following Jesus and obeying all that the Bible says, then you are following idols. If you are not serving Jesus Christ, you are serving other idols. An idol can be anything that takes the place of God as the most important focus and priority in our life. Topics for this week: - You Cannot Serve Two Masters (continued) - Finding Out Who Your God Is - Results of Worshipping Idols - Removing Idol Worship from Your Life This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): 1 John 5:21, Matthew 6:24, 1 Kings 18:21, Luke 6:43–49, 1 Corinthians 10:6–11, Exodus 20:13–17, Hebrews 12:5–11, Leviticus 26:14–23. Have You Tried Everything Else (Idol Worship)? Now Try Jesus (Pt.2) (347) - April 25 2026

Many people are looking for solutions to their current challenges, trials, and difficult life situations. So many people are desperate to get the things, people, or opportunities they desire that they are willing to do evil—lying, cheating, stealing, controlling others, or even practicing witchcraft—to make things go their way. This is evil. It is coveting, idolatry, addiction, and serving false gods, ungodly statues, altars, shrines, graves, and dead people. It includes offering sacrifices to other gods in an attempt to force, manipulate, or control people, situations, or opportunities. The truth is, if you are doing these evil things, there is always a price to pay. When you serve Jesus Christ, the Bible says in Matthew 10:8: "....Freely (without pay) you have received, freely (without charge) give.” Topics include: - If you are not serving Jesus Christ, you are serving other idols. What idols have you made your god?   - You cannot serve two masters.   - Results of worshipping idols. This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC):Matthew 10:8, 1 John 5:21, Philippians 3:19, Matthew 6:24, Joshua 24:15, Galatians 6:7, 2 Corinthians 9:6, Exodus 20:3, Exodus 20:4, Psalm 135:15-17, Habakkuk 2:18-19, Leviticus 26:1, Hebrews 13:5, Jonah 2:8, Deuteronomy 5:7-9, Exodus 20:23-24, Joshua 23:7, Numbers 25:2-3, 1 Kings 18:21, 1 Corinthians 6:11, Exodus 20:13-17. Have You Tried Everything Else? Now Try Jesus (Pt.1) (346) - April 18 2026

How many of us want to move forward but feel stagnant, running in so many directions and doing so many things? Eventually, we realize we are not moving forward the way we would like or the way we thought we were. Many people use the phrase: “I am hitting up against a wall.” This means there are obstacles in the way, you’re going nowhere, and you are stagnant. This is a sign that you are going the wrong way or doing the wrong things. It’s like driving on the road and looking for the turn you’re supposed to take. You can tell the turn should have come up by now, but it’s taking too long. All the signs are pointing to something being wrong. This means it’s time to pause, conserve your energy, and regather yourself to come up with a new plan that works — because what you’re doing is not working. All your efforts, all your knowledge, and all your information are leading you to a dead end. Truly, God is trying to tell you something. Those who are listening can hear God. Those who are not listening can see the signs by now. The big sign in your life is this: something is wrong. We discuss the following topics: - What are the obstacles that can be in your way? - Who is God in your life? - Understand that Jesus, who is bigger and wiser than you, is in control. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Hebrews 6, Judges 18:5-6, 2 Samuel 2:1, Judges 20:18, 1 Samuel 28:6, 2 Chronicles 34:21, Exodus 20:3, Jeremiah 29:12-13, Proverbs 3:5-6, Proverbs 3:7, Isaiah 55:7-9, Proverbs 4:7, Job 38:1-18, Proverbs 4:1-2, Proverbs 4:5-13, Zachariah 4:6, Job 40:1-10, Job 42:2-6, Job 37:14-24.
