My Prerogative, A Masterful Track is a finely tuned recorded  production mainly due to its composition, Superior Values crafted to a specific genre that has stood the test of time through dance music’s fondest of timelines resulting in little to no degradation in replay-ability or popularity with a high possibility of absorbing all of your fondest musical memories. You have had the unfiltered pleasure of actually experiencing tracks upon release or being there around a specific age or stage… This means that you are most probably Generation X! Dependant upon the age that you engaged to going out…  The original social network where Face-time meant checking someone out 👌🏾 Melodies into Memories, You played out until dusk, Purchased Records and tapes and sweets at Woolies, lived for the weekend, loved designer clothes, Rah Rah skirts,  Soul belts and L& Scott jumpers, Sneaked into cinema’s, Pubs and Clubs… Disagreed with your mates, then shook their hands!  Not dorky fist Bumps… Rest assured we lived the best years!!  Whilst I have been seeking a formula to fit this Soul-  intension to play you back!  I sincerely hope this episode achieves just that!     Welcome international music lovers to this weeks rendition where pre-disco formula’s that ultimately combined to cultivate the true essence of feel good. Fuelled from the origins of trad Jazz, Enhanced after the late sixties early Seventies R&B artists assigned to such labels as Stax, Blue Note & Philly! Little did the baby boomers know that all of these elements of the good groove would merge together to collaborate further fuelled by the sign of those times to create the true definitive sounds of the 1970s. Remember back then there was room for all genres… But the unique Soul sound was too influential to contain from within an underworld from were it came as the then current sounds were moving right under your feet, Projecting music lovers towards the sounds of the streets. Bubbling away within a unique sub genre of Rhythms forged of harmonies and Bass that was often revered for fear of its suggestive un-mainstream hormones & tones that dared to not conform, judge, segregate or shun! regardless of race, gender or musical preference or social elegance. This Soul Sanctuary aka dance Utopia however this would not last long as the sounds of the underground was unwittingly about to evolve through a collaborative and creative set of production values to create a movement so socially infectious that the very fabric of everything dance music has not stopped manipulating all genres of music until this very day… if you agree that music even still exists… What you are about to received is a selection of unfiltered rarities forged from the masters of Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Disco Boogie that were created within those  hard times of the 1970s that now in reflection, Make us long to stumble upon a flux capacitor, set the Star-Date for early to mid 70s, Back track then smash the dial and head to the nearest department store, require some dance attire, Non  polyester! Maybe!  to the new Movie experienced at a special launch screening midweek at Londons 02 In the presence  of every Generational member of my own clan who have now got to finally witness my own life magic growing up seeing the Jacksons on the tv in real time! in cartoon form in the 1970s, Experiencing the singles upon the Dance-Floors and seeing Michael J front and centre at Bad Wembley London 88... I Still even have the program. There is so much more to the man regarding his musical evolution…I guess we have always felt it and it came from the most unlikely yet Beautifully simplistic of places and spaces that Michael intensionally created these previously unsung influences of which has resonated through his music until this very day. Love was & still is the message and there certainly are many to be discovered in Michael’s music!
