These two guys apparently think they’re hilarious (one of them actually SAID that people think he’s hilarious- who these people are, I don’t know) and made stupid jokes throughout the ENTIRETY of their episodes. These cases are about murder victims and suffering, yet you would think they were on some bad comedy morning radio show in 1992.
They weren’t even funny whatsoever, which makes it far worse. At least one of them is super loud, never stops cracking bad jokes and, in the episode I listened to, was super judgmental of the people they were discussing and making ridiculous assumptions, as if he had room to talk. As if treating a murder case like a joke wasn’t bad enough. By the way, “loud/obnoxious” does NOT EQUAL COMEDY.
I’m so sick of true crime podcasts where people think it’s totally acceptable to attempt to be funny as if it’s a comedic podcast- obviously these people never thought “how would I feel if some obnoxious strangers were talking about MY loved one being brutally murdered and making stupid jokes about it as if it’s entertainment?”. Try thinking about that. These aren’t fodder for dumb jokes, they’re heinous crimes. You’re not funny anyway, you might as well just provide the facts of the case and save the attempt at “entertainment”.
