    138. Different Eyes

    Different moments in life ask something different of us. There are times when beauty is easy to see. Other times our eyes are drawn to pain, loneliness, disappointment, or the greyness that can settle over a day. Moving between these ways of seeing is not always simple. Sometimes it requires effort. Sometimes only awareness. In this reflective episode of Souloist ,I explore the idea that we carry many pairs of eyes within us: eyes for beauty, eyes for sorrow, eyes for wonder, and eyes for pain. When life feels heavy, it can be difficult to remember thatbeauty still exists. Yet sometimes a small memory, a passing thought, or a fleeting glimpse of something beautiful can offer a moment of hope. This conversation is not about pushing away sadness orpretending everything is fine. Quite the opposite. It is an invitation to stay present with what hurts, to listen to it, and to trust that it too has a place in the unfolding of a life. And then, alongside the pain, comes wonder.
