    Mike Penrod Joins Shalon to discuss the history surrounding the 1860s military stockade in Sauk Centre MN. Also discussed is the research done by the St. Cloud State Anthropology department in 2018 in Sauk Centre to try to pinpoint the exact location of the Fort. We talk about the implications this fort and forts like it had in context in the time period of the 1860s.

    Charlie Roth is a Minnesota songwriter with 8 album and 8 European tours under his belt. He joins Shalon to talk about the new world we are living in at least for the moment, and how this world renowned troubadour is now playing music live from his old farm house in the heart of that state. In this program he plays three of his own compositions, 'Home To Me', 'Little Boy', and 'My Chair.
