This Podcast is Making Me Thirsty (The Seinfeld Podcast)

I’m out there binging all of the guest star interview episodes, and I’m loving every minute of it! For true Seinfeld obsessives, these interviews are a goldmine of very specific insights into how Seinfeld episodes are made. They’re really insightful, interesting, down-to-earth conversations. It’s refreshing to hear from creative professionals who are also “real” people. Yes, the recordings can be a little rough sometimes, but overall, this has been a great deep dive for me.

I appreciate anyone making a Seinfeld podcast in 2026, and I admire the hosts’ efforts to interview actors from the show. However, I find some of the episodes difficult to listen to. There’s a lot of negativity, it’s clear that the hosts don’t know the show as well as one might expect, and the audio quality is mediocre. These guys piss me off so much sometimes but this is exactly the way a Seinfeld review should be handled. They get great guests and ask some good questions and the insight is incredible. I totally disagree with some of the hate for some of the episodes but it’s still well worth listening to.

It is fun hearing the “behind the scenes” stories from the support actors and production folks that they manage to book. But, they are such horrible interviewers that I find myself feeling sorry for their interesting guests. I’m certain all the guests are thankful when it’s over.
