Don't Let Your Friends Sign You Up for Tinder

Before Tinder, there was the Lonely Hearts Club (not just a Beatles song) where you could sign up to meet potential spouses. Sounds just as sketchy as all other modern dating apps. Raymond "Ray" Fernandez started preying on these women who were lonely and vulnerable, one being Martha Beck. What started out as a scam for money, turned into a two-year love affair that ended with four known dead women and confessions of at least twenty more. We cover The Lonely Hearts Killer, Ray Fernandez, and Marth Beck and the book Tortured With Love by J.T. Hunter

The Bonnie and Clyde Show- Staring Bonnie Parker

This is the story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrows; an American love story that started with rose-tinted glasses and ended in bloodshed. During a time when everything and anything was going wrong in America ( the great depression, dust bowl, and ever-growing rise of crime) Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrows were the masterminds behind the Barrows gang. In Season 2: Episode 201 we cover Karen Blumenthel's Bonnie and Clyde: The Making of a Legend- which we give 5 out of 5 stars to hands down! Want more of this episode? it's a long episode...

In this episode, we change our podcast a little. We talk about John Wayne Gacy: Defending a Monster by Sam L. Amirante and Danny Broderick. Sam L. Amirante was one of the lawyers who defended Gacy. Now before you start on the whole WHO IS GOING TO DEFEND A MONSTER!? Don't worry we have that question to, but this book is an inside look at the legal work for those who are on the other side of good. Read the book, take a listen, or take a listen then read the book. This is an unedited episode, we go off the topic because this is such a deep topic.

I Heard it Through the Grapevine

Second-hand accounts could mean life or death when talking about a horrific crime. If you knew someone personally who committed let's say, oh I don't, murder, how would your life alter after the act? If you were an investigator on something that changed American history forever, what would you do if all the evidence was simply burnt to a crisp? Would you tell the truth or would you alter them... all because you heard them through the grapevine? .
