    Setting the record straight

    Modern society in so many ways is not unlike medieval societies of days long past. There was a time, the Bible speaks of it, that every man did whatever was right in their own lives. There were no rules , no laws , and consequently , no order. Those were the days before the God of all creation revealed Himself to man and began to call out a people, and sanctify a nation chosen unto Himself. Before that time, man basically did whatever he wanted to do . Adam’s disobedience in the Garden of Eden opened up the floodgates of sin and rebellion against God. His sin opened up the door for murder to enter into the history of the human race. And here we are today, looking an acting even more wicked than before the flood. It all started with Adam’s disobedience. It will end with the Rapture of the Church and the ultimate judgement of man as explained in the Book of Revelation, in the Holy Bible. This podcast episode sets the record straight for anyone who is wondering about Heaven, and who’s going there. Will you be in that number? I hope and pray that you will .     The Five W’’s of Broadcast Journalism and how they might relate to your spiritual life

    In my academic pursuit of a degree in broadcast journalism, I learned the importance of gathering information for a news story. The emphasis focused on the the five w’s - purpose being to capture the whole story in the most concise and entertaining or dramatic form possible, using true facts , not speculation. The Goal: to inform the reader with reliable, factual infotmation that have they a full accountability of the fire, the accident, the act of violence etc. They got answers . They were not left wondering what, or where, or who. ******In our spirit life, by contrast and , to the chagrin of so many, we never get the whole story. Rather, we get bits and pieces at a time. As we act in faith, we get a little bit more and a little bit more. For those who don’t understand the faith walk this can be quite concerning. These anxious ones need to know all the details. They need to know all of the five w’s to their life story. Please be awakened to this reality: that’s not going to happen. God reveals these details on a “need to know” basis. So, can I say “Just Chill” and trust your Shepherd to lead you? Even though you may not know “where”,you know “Who”, and thats enough. Now listen to “The 5 w’s..,” by Coach Shelley aka Eld.     Where is the God of Elijah?

    This is a word to the Prophet, the Pastor , the Teacher to any and all in leadership positions who find themselves tired, weary, ready to quit. There is a word from the Lord! Scripturural references from 2Kings2:14 as well as all references regarding Elijah starting in 1Kings 17:1. Also references to Job42:10 “And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his FRIENDS(not sins)also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. “And from the Book of Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint. “. These scriptures are referenced during the episode. They are listed here for the point of clarification. Please apply them as you’re listening and as you go back to the Bible to dig deeper.     Coping with depression

    People are hurting. People are depressed,worried,troubled, grieving, and dying. If you’re not careful, the ubiquitous presence of each of these matters can and will infect you and pull you down into a pit of despair, anxiety, and hopelessness. As believers, let us never forget the hope that we have in the Lord Jesus Christ. Let us never forget the dynamic power of prayer. Let us never forget to reach out and touch someone who is hurting. Do it today. You just might save a soul on the brink of giving up.❤️ I reminded of the song that my grandmother used to sing: “Throw out the lifeline. Somebody is sinking. ““ Oh God, have mercy!
